the AUTUMN 2024 season of FRHD Teams starts September 1st!

this thread will be updated through the season, at the end of each week (saturday night, central time zone). it will list the points scored, members traded, and powerups used, along with commentary about the week! to help with the ease of viewing the scores, this thread will stay locked.

although points cannot be scored until the season starts on the 1st, each team captain has 100 points to begin the season. during this next week, team captains may be looking to bribe some players to come to their teams, or strategize about using powerups that will be active the first week. on the night of August 31st, I will post the results of "WEEK ZERO" with any trades or powerups used.

scoring: - the points listed here are final and will not change for this season.
+200 points for a featured track
+30 points for a featured ghost
+20 points for a stolen featured ghost - checked on saturday nights, central time

+100 points or more for 1st place in a contest
+50 points or more for 2nd place in a contest
+20 points or more for 3rd place in a contest

+20 points or more for significant actions (e.g. a team effort to do commentary & criticism for tracks/ghosts)

+100 points for team spirit, to each team that shows cooperation and works toward developing a team culture.

-500 points for cheating (abusing TAS, stolen tracks, etc.)

...and as more events and forum games pop up, more points will be possible to earn.

Team Duathlon - hosted by Volund, for trackmakers and ghosters alike.

"Track Jam" - hosted once a week, make a track with a theme. best three tracks get points, 100 for 1st place, 60 for 2nd, 40 for 3rd.

"Ghost Jam" - hosted once a week, with a list of 10 tracks to be raced on. each new top time on each track at the end of the week scores 20 points.

featured ghost update - monthly (hopefully, depending on the ghost moderating team), this will be when new featured ghosts can be scored. important: only featured ghosts made from between september 1 and november 30 will count for season points. so the upcoming list at the end of this month, even if posted a couple days into september, will not count for points.

Ghosting Awards - hosted monthly, Best Ghost of the Month gets 50 points (not including points for a feature), and top three ghosters get 100 points, 50 points, and 20 points respectively. september, october, and november awards only.
