Nah its because I had to rewrite how the vehicles interacted in the game. Next vehicles are simple.

 

Sweet so will they be rapidly released? I assumed so considering you put the power ups into the editor even though we can't use them yet.

Yeah, we are going to look at the impact this has, and then release the others. Might be too much at once.

Ya, helicopters are already going insane in ratings...it would be smart to have officials use the next one, but not use it as a main thing, then later release it to the public...there should also be power up campaigns...
e:In other words...let officials use it for a bit on tracks as an extra to a track and not a big "Hot Air Balloon Training!" Or something like that...

Yeah, it'll die down. It doesn't matter. Its too much of a pain for us to release to only a select group of people. I would rather not have to code that in. Good content should shine through.

As for the campaigns, we have not yet discussed this.

 

Different campaign for each new vehicle? Or all the new vehicles in a new set of campaigns?

 

Not sure if I like this feature. I thought this game was meant to differ from FR2? You're moving it back to the FR2 era. I'd rather this site stick to just bikes. It defies the whole purpose of the game. By adding more vehicles you're making the game more like Hill Climb Rider HD.
I wouldn't mind if you introduced a switch bikes during mid-run feature.

 

You gotta understand, there are still going to be people creating "just bike" tracks. Releasing more vehicles allows more people to become creative and turn into authors. It is overall going to be a positive thing for the site.
I think the bigger issue is that we need to bring forward sorting/filtering of content. That way you don't have to play the other vehicles.

Something that would be good is being able to search by vehicle. For instance, search BMX and BMX only tracks come up, or MTB and HELI and MTB and Helicopter tracks come up

 

Then make FreeFlyerHD and FreeDriver HD etc. lol

 

And .. when Blob Vehicle come out .. it would be FreeBloberHD

 

the ghosting system is going haywire right now, and I think it's because of the heli
