Love the idea! But, would that not make it more difficult for newer authors to become popular if the trending page is filled with mainly awesome and popular authors (not that I'm complaining)? EDIT: Couldn't help but notice that tracks with over 1 million plays now just have "1.7 mil" or whatever written instead of the actual number of plays. Why is this?
The shortening of numbers over 1000 using k is annoying and looks bad in my opinion. I wish they would change it back.
One of the challenges of building a game / website across multiple screen sizes (tablets, mobile, laptops) is to get everything to fit / scale right. With some of the larger numbers of plays and votes on tracks we started to see some weird things happening. Abbreviating with k/m/t seems to be pretty common.
Yeah it's common just not pleasant in my opinion. Would it work if only numbers over 999,999 were abbreviated?
yeah lol, I think it might be because when I made wheelie in the forest 3, it stayed right on the top of trending for a solid two weeks, almost 3. ecks dee but I didn't even comprehend (or care) likes back then, I just loved all the nice comments. that was the main reason i enjoyed FRHD people were so nice
