By implementing that we have three ways to draw curves: with a free-mouse, using the grid and taking the grid as a reference point. If you think the last one is hard to use, then simply don't use it. I think it will help some players draw smoother curves.
Why was the red line (when you hold shift to make a new line connected to the old one) removed? Can we get that back? I relied on that to make my curves.
