yeah. All the 1v1 matches will be revealed at once on Saturday (for me, might be Friday for others) and you get 3 days to ghost. you get 5 matches off that you can use how you like where you won't be matched with someone, but that needs to be told to someone on the ranked team at least 2 days before the match is announced. so yeah, you have to participate unless you opt out for that week.

UPDATE:

- Now that the 5th World Cup has been completed, Ranked Ghosting now has a clear time to take off. So now the first match is scheduled for Saturday March 6th at 1:00 pm AEST, 10 days from now. This can change however if something happens that makes me need to postpone this for whatever reason.
- The track will be custom made to start off the contest. Not all the tracks will be like this though, most of the time older tracks will be chosen to ghost.
- Also changing the "point groups" to "ranks" like bronze, silver, gold, platinum, etc because it sounds cooler.
- Thinking about adding special events, like longer tracks that earn more points for winning (magnum opus for example). Though atm this is just a thought so this probably won't happen.
- When the Ranked begins the main post will be completely remade to fit all the rules and questions that have been discussed in the thread so far.
- Also, I'm seeing what I can do about every participant getting a medal, but for the rank they finish at the end of the season. for example finishing in gold will give you a custom gold ranked medal that you get until the end of the next season. there will be a minimum track completion limit that ghosters will have to complete to be allowed to get this medal to stop just anyone from showing up to get a free medal. this is just an idea though don't get too excited.

This has been said before. I don't mind people asking questions about the Ranked game mode but make sure it's something that hasn't been answered before. if you don't ghost you lose. therefore losing points.
I don't like repeating myself for single questions.
