GHOSTERS OF THE MONTH

1 - Xenom - Hello guys once again. Yeah, we are behind with this once again, but we were focused on finally releasing the top 100 list so I'm glad that we finished that already and can focus on other stuff now. We should release the March Ghosting Awards in a few days as well, but I think we'll push it further for like a week so we can give this enough time for people to see and also enough time for us to make the next one properly. Not that we didn't for February, we made our research as usual, but of course it wasn't the main focus, so maybe we missed some things. Still, last month was kind of a slow one, not much action in the main official ghosting threads or even in the database, but after some discussions we decided our top 3. First one needs no introduction, it's the great Xenom again, now officially ranked the 5th all-time in the top 100 list. Xenom is still making waves and dominating the ghosting scene, so he takes his 9th Ghoster Of The Month win by team's picks ever after gaining a feature and having many great suggestions in the official ghosts thread and some other cool ghosts in the database last month. It's his 3rd win in a row and his 2nd win in 2024. Nicely done! He's now just 1 win away from equalizing Cerasium's all-time record of 10 wins and they are in a particular duel in March, so it'll interesting to see how it all unfolds. It's Xenom's 14th participation among the top 3 ghosters of the month, which is enough for 2nd place all-time on this stat, 5 behind Cerasium. It's actually the 8th top 3 participation in a row, so he's only 1 participation behind equalizing Cerasium's all-time record of 9 top 3 participations in a row. Keep it up, man!

2 - Azgr00/XGRAzgr - A newcomer in the just released top 100 ghosters list, 79th all-time ghoster Azgr00 just showed why we think he deserved a spot in the list. Getting a cool feature after beating Xenom on a trial track, Azgr00 made his debut in the official featured ghosts list last month. Then he debuted in the top 100 list because he has actually been dropping some solid ghosts in the database in the past couple of years and now he makes his debut in the ghosting awards getting 2nd ghoster of the month here. Yeah, it was a slow month, but it was a very deserved feature from him, so we thought that he deserved this placement. Congrats, man! It's his first time ever here, so congrats again! You actually beat me on being the first brazilian to get a ghosting award, haha. Nicely done! Hope to see you around here at some point again, keep it up!

3 - CK9C - A guy that didn't quite make our top 100 ghosters list but that can get there with a few improvements and a bit more consistency, CK9C finishes among the top 3 ghosters of the month for the 2nd time ever, first time this year. We considered some guys with ghosts in recent popular tracks, we considered putting some of your usual names here that can always make some good ghosts from time to time, but no one really stood out, so we decided to reward CK9C's efforts. Yeah, we saw that TPlacella had a dope suggestion in the official featured ghosts and some other cool ghosts, we saw dodoche51's nice efforts, but even though most of CK9C's suggestions were beaten by Xenom, we are seeing some improvement and solid efforts over the previous months, especially the last one, so we decided to give this 3rd place to him. Congrats, man! Keep it up!​

Shoutouts: Main one goes to TPlacella, that had some cool ghosts in the month, but fair to dodoche51 as well and everyone that tried to get some cool ghosts last month.

UPDATE 1: Due to the recent discovery of Azgr00/XGRAzgr cheating on some tracks, we are revoking his 2nd place here. Xenom will stay with the official 1st place, CK9C will get the official 2nd place and TPlacella will get the official 3rd place.

Last Ghoster Of The Month Poll Comments: Xenom is back again at the top by the public votes, getting the second win in a row in this category. It's Xenom's 10th win on this category, so he's now super close to Cerasium's all-time record of 11 wins on this category. Good stuff, man! Xenom won this poll with 10 votes (66,7%), which is actually the highest amount of votes someone received since Anonyymi's win on April 2022. We also had 4 votes for Duper (26,7%) and 1 vote for Tubiek (6,7%), so we got a total of 15 votes, which is the highest amount of votes we got since November 2022, that was actually when Xenom had his very first win on this category. Not bad. Keep it up, guys!

GHOST OF THE MONTH:

https://www.freeriderhd.com/t/946065-shamatoz-probably-clear-2/r/xgrazgr - We were really on the fence between this one and Xenom's feature (that eventually got beaten this month), but after some back and forth we ended up deciding in favor of Azgr00's ghost that is a really cool win over Xenom on a trial track. Not bad. This is actually the first time Xenom wins ghoster of the month and fails to win ghost of the month, which was a crazy stat to maintain. Azgr00 takes home his first Ghost Of The Month award ever! What a month for you. Congrats!

GHOSTERS OF THE MONTH

1 - Cerasium - After 3 straight wins from Xenom in this category, Cerasium decided to make a statement: He's back! And if he puts in the work and keeps grinding towards ghosting, it's super hard to stop him. A motivated Cerasium is a tough challenge for anyone and last month he decided he would attempt reclaiming his crown in the ghosting scene in this new era with a dominant Xenom. This movement from Cerasium started last month and is continuing on April, but let's talk about March first and let what happens this month to be discussed in the next ghosting awards. For March itself, it was sort of a battle against Xenom. Yeah Cerasium got 5 features last month and Xenom only 1, but Xenom had over 10 great suggestions, some that might be featured, so it wasn't an easy decision. But Cerasium also had several good suggestions and many other cool ghosts in popular tracks from last month, so even though Xenom also had some of that, we thought it was fair to give it to Cerasium this time, since I think his level of ghosting was a bit superior last month and most of the features Cerasium got were actually stolen ones from Xenom, so in 1v1 battles Cerasium prevailed. The guy is back on beast mode and takes the Ghoster Of The Month win once again. It's Cerasium's 11th win in this category, which is the all-time record for wins here. It's also Cerasium's 20th time (!!!) among the top 3 ghosters of the month, another insane all-time record. Cerasium also becomes the first player ever to have a Ghoster Of The Month award win in 4 different years (2021, 2022, 2023 & 2024). No one even had a top 3 ghoster of the month participation in 4 different years yet. The only one that have had some kind of ghosting award in 4 different years was RedOrBlue, and now Cerasium joins this club with another great record once again. This is the first top 3 participation and win for Cerasium this year, but I have a feeling it won't be the last. Keep it up, man! The Ghosting Awards king is back!

2 - Xenom - Even though we felt like Cerasium beat Xenom last month, it doesn't mean had a bad month. Not at all. He had a great feature, several solid suggestions and many other cool ghosts in the database, having a pretty solid activity last month. He is still managing a crazy good consistency since last year. The guy finishes among the top 3 ghosters of the month for the 9th in a row, which ties the all-time record for that, set by Cerasium in 2021. This is the 15th time Xenom finishes among the top 3 ghosters of the month, all of those achieved in the last 17 months. CRAZY CONSISTENCY! This will be the 4th time Xenom finishes in 2nd place in the Ghoster Of The Month award. Really solid! This is the 3rd month of 2024 and the 3rd top 3 participation for Xenom among the ghosters of the month. Really nice! The now ranked 5th place all-time in our Top 100 Ghosters List once again showed why he's one of the best and most consistent players in the game.

3 - Cork - We had a tough battle for the 3rd place here and the final verdict wasn't exactly unanimous. We had guys like CK9C having some cool suggestions and Uniior having some solid ghosts in the database, but the main battle was between Cork and KZabrikov/piski. If you paid attention last month, you could see that KZabrikov/piski/erikeriksson2001 had a very active month, showing up in several leaderboards of popular tracks like the recent featured ones, the ones in trending and the daily tracks, with a fair amount of 1st places, so he was the inital guy we considered for the 3rd place. After some debates and research we ended up seeing that Cork also had a solid month, especially with his alt u3Lilac, having lots of great ghosts last month, including some great technical ones, so we were on the fence about who we should choose. KZabrikov had more ghosts around the database that had some relevance, but many of them were short tracks and the ones that were on long tracks weren't as clean, so we felt like Cork's ghosts were solid enough to get this placement, since he was also quite active last month. So the now ranked 31st all-time in the last top 100 ghosters list will take his 3rd participation among the top 3 ghoster of the month. he got 2nd place two times last year and now gets his first 3rd place with his first top 3 participation this year. Nicely done, man! You already started April strong, so let's keep it up!

GHOST OF THE MONTH:

https://www.freeriderhd.com/t/836902-embark/r/theft - We were really on the fence about the ghost and the decision wasn't unanimous either, but we ended up deciding to choose this ghost as the ghost of the month. The biggest contender was his ghost on Yellow Mountain, but Xenom's feature from last month, Cerasium's other features and some suggestions from Xenom, Cerasium and Cork would be great picks as well. This ghost on Embark isn't featured yet but it'll most likely be featured since it's quite solid and super dominant against a crazy leaderboard. Good stuff! This is the 5th win from Cerasium in this category, which makes him the 3rd with most awards in this category, tied with Anonyymi and behind Xenom and RadiumRC. It's his first one this year. This is also the 5th double win ever for Cerasium, his first one this year. This Double Win makes Cerasium be the first player to achieve a double win in 3 different years (2021, 2023 & 2024) and the second player (after RedOrBlue) to get a Ghost Of The Month win in 3 different years as well. Really dope. You already started April strong beating some records, so keep it up, man!

APRIL 2024 - Ghosting Awards Results

GHOSTERS OF THE MONTH

1 - Cerasium - In March, Cerasium came back to the top in the Ghosting Awards and we mentioned that he "made a statement" to the ghosting community, showing how dominante he can be when he put his mind to it. Well, now I guess we can say that after that statement he published a whole thesis on why he's starting to get in contention for the GOAT status in the FRHD community when it comes to ghosting. My man simply dropped a new all-time record for features gained and kept in a month (37 ghosts, beating Xenom's previous record of 35), and I'm not even counting his 25+ suggestions, that might as well increase this number to over 50 ore even 60 features gained in April. INSANE! The guy also set new records for total of featured ghosts held (138) and the total of featured fast ghosts held (131). Insane! No one is safe. Madara, Sidewalk, Cork, RedOrBlue, tetrationiscool, Chaos-Fallen (R.I.P.) ,Xenom, Anonyymi and even RadiumRC have suffered with Cerasium's wrath lately, losing many features to Cerasium. Cerasium also had several good suggestions in the official featured ghosts thread and many other cool ghosts in the database, many in recent popular tracks as well. As I said last month, this guy is back on beast mode and takes the Ghoster Of The Month win one more time. It's Cerasium's 12th win in this category, which improves his all-time record for wins in this category. It's literally like a full year of wins. Crazy! It's also Cerasium's 21st time among the top 3 ghosters of the month, another crazy all-time record. This is the second top 3 participation and win for Cerasium this year, both in a row, but it's not looking like it'll be the last. Keep it up, man!

2 - Sidewalk - If the 1st place was light-years ahead of everyone else, the battle for second place wasn't that easy to decide. The main battle was between Sidewalk and Xenom. Both players had some good suggestions, but most of those were lately beaten by Cerasium, so it was tough to decide. At the end of the day, Sidewalk had one featured ghost besides his great suggestions, so even though the ghost was beaten in the beginning of May, we decided to give the edge to Sidewalk here. Also, at the end of April, Sidewalk finished with more first places among featured ghosts and suggestions than Xenom, so even though it was close, I feel like it's fair to give it to Sidewalk. This is actually the 6th time Sidewalk finishes among the top 3 ghosters of the month, which makes him surpass Xverse, Anonyymi, RedOrBlue and Unghosted on that category, getting tied with Cerulean for the 5th place in the all-time rankings for that category. It's the first time Sidewalk finishes among the top 3 ghosters of the month this year, and not only that, but it's the first time he does that since his win back in August 2022, so yeah, it's a long overdue comeback for Sidewalk. It's the 4th time he finishes in 2nd place. Keep it up!

3 - Xenom - Yeah, maybe not the best month from Xenom, considering his previous one, but still a historic month for him in terms of stats. Yeah, having no features from him in a month became a weird thing, but even though I think he isn't being able to be ghosting properly lately, he still managed to do some impressive ghosts here and there and have some good suggestions, so even though we had guys like CK9C, Cork and Stevie.T with some good ghosts over the previous month, and some other players with good ghosts in the database as well, we thought it was fair to give the 3rd place for Xenom. And this is a historic achievement for Xenom for a few different reasons. Let's start saying that this is the 16th top 3 ghosters of the month participation for Xenom (2nd all-time), being the 4th this year (out of 4), which is already great. However, this beats a long-standing record set by Cerasium in 2021 of 9 top 3 ghosters of the month in a row, since this marks the 10th time in a row that Xenom finishes among the top 3 ghosters of the month. Incredible! This is just the 3rd time that Xenom finishes in 3rd place (out of 16 top 3 performances, lol). Very solid ghoster. Keep it up!

Shoutouts: Main one goes to Stevie.T, that had a really solid effort on Unforgiving 3 once again, despite the ghost break. Cork and CK9C aldo did good last month with a few good ghosts.

Last Ghoster Of The Month Poll Comments: Well, I said that the ghosting awards this month were historic for Xenom despite the fact he didn't win the main prizes. And I was not done with that statement. Despite getting 2nd place for his efforts in February by the Team's Picks, the public voted for Xenom as the Best Ghoster of February (it was a close call indeed). This is Xenom's 4th win in a row in this category, which ties him for the most all-time win achieved in a row in this category. The previous record is his own, tied with Cerasium, so he manages to do this once again. Not only that, but this is Xenom's 12th win on this category, which makes him surpass Cerasium and become the solo all-time record holder of Ghoster Of The Month wins by Public Votes. WOW! Insane, man. Xenom got the W on this tight poll with 7 votes (53,8%), against 5 votes for Cerasium (38,5%) and 1 vote for Cork (7,7%), so we got a total of 13 votes. Keep it up, guys!

GHOST OF THE MONTH:

https://www.freeriderhd.com/t/294635-crumble/r/theft - Even though we had countless ghosts from Cerasium to choose from and also a few good ones from Xenom and Sidewalk, we had 4 players in the team showing up for the votes this time and we all agreed on the ghost for once, haha. We all went with Cerasium's ghost on Crumble, that is soon to be featured. This ghost was an iconic from Anonyymi in the past, then an even more iconic ghost from Madara, that was sadly deleted back then. We are 99% sure that this ghost is faster than Madara's old ghost, but since we couldn't find irrefutable proof of that we ended up leaving it for the reviews for the next Official Featured Ghosts update. But it'll be featured and we really liked this ghost, so we decided to go with this one for the Ghost Of The Month. This is Cerasium's 6th win in this category, which makes him tie with RadiumRC for the 2nd player with the most wins in this category, just behind Xenom, that has 8. MAY 2024 - Ghosting Awards Results

GHOSTERS OF THE MONTH

1 - Cerasium - Well, this time we had a chill month with not many remarkable activities in the ghosting community. It didn't change who was on top, though. Cerasium got 2 featured ghosts and got some other cool ghosts in the database, so in a slow month like last one that was enough for the win. This guy can't stop breaking records and now reaches his 13th Ghoster Of The Month win by Team's Picks, which expands once more his all-time record for wins in this category. This is Cerasium's 3rd win in the category in 2024, all them in a row, which makes him surpass Xenom and take the lead this year. Crazy! These 2 are untouchable this year! It's also Cerasium's 22nd time among the top 3 ghosters of the month (3rd this year, 3rd in a row), which is another legendary all-time record. Let's keep this going, man. Good stuff!

2 - Xenom - I mentioned that the Cerasium/Xenom duo was untouchable this year, and I guess that's true. Once again, with a featured ghost and some other cool suggestions here and there Xenom is showing some solid consistency for like over a year and a half now. It's incredible! It's the 17th top 3 ghosters of the month participation for Xenom ever, securing his 11th one in a row, which is a new record (he has 16 participations in the last 17 editions and 17 out of the last 19). INSANE! It's his 5th participation this year (he's 5/5 so far). Really solid, man! It was a close call between him and Anonyymi for the 2nd place for last month, but we found more ghosts to back Xenom up for this 2nd place, so we'll keep him here, for the 5th time ever. Keep it up, man!

3 - Anonyymi - THE LEGEND RETURNS! After being M.I.A. for a bit, Anonyymi does his Ghosting Awards return in style, after being away from the awards since December of 2022, securing an extremely iconic featured ghost, showing that he can still compete at the highest level whenever he puts his mind to it. For those that have been around long enough in this community or that followed closely the "lore" of this thread, you guys should know that Anonyymi's ghost on "woof" was actually his first featured ghost, the ghost that started a brilliant journey in the FRHD community and that Anonyymi fought hard to keep, even when he got inactive and some new players were starting to be able to match him in some instances. Anonyymi simply beat his own Ghost Of The Month from April 2022, also taking down a stacked leaderboard that included recent solid ghosts from the protagonists of the ghosting scene right now, such as Xenom and Cerasium. Really sick! Even though Anonyymi didn't do much more than that last month, it was indeed a slow month, as we mentioned, so this ghost was iconic enough to make him earn a place in the top 3 by itself. Long live the king Anonyymi! The Anonymous Finnish strikes again, finishing among the top 3 ghosters of the month for the 6th time ever, the first one this year. He now surpasses Xverse, RedOrBlue and Unghosted, tying with Cerulean and Sidewalk for the 5th player with the most top 3 participations in this category. Really nice, man!

Shoutouts: I think the main one goes to NotVeryGood for grinding multiple classic tracks lately, getting some cool leaderboard placements. I respect the grind, man. Keep it up! piski also has been dropping some cool ghosts once in a while and guys like CK9C, Uniior, Sidewalk and Coated_Badger had some decent suggestions last month as well, so keep it up, guys!

Last Ghoster Of The Month Poll Comments: After some Xenom wins in a row, Cerasium takes control back with the public votes. After a masterclass in April, the people had no other chance than surrender to the vast talents of Cerasium. The guy is a beast! This win brings Cerasium back to the top of this category, making him tie with Xenom for the most wins in this category, with 12 wins each. This first win this year in this category for Cerasium breaks Xenom's streak and stablishes a new record for Cerasium, since he became the first player to ever have Ghoster Of the Month wins by Public Votes in 4 different years (2021, 2022, 2023 & 2024). WOW! Insane, man. Cerasium won with 9 votes (69,2%), against 3 votes for Xenom (23,1%) and 1 vote for Sidewalk (7,7%), so we got a total of 13 votes. Keep it up, guys!

GHOST OF THE MONTH:

He reclaimed the crown on his iconic feature beating the 2 most dangerous players at the moment, so he earned this one. Fun fact is that Anonyymi used this exact account to get the Ghost Of April 2022 on this track, so after almost 4 years we actually have a first here. This is the first time the same player gets Ghost Of The Month on the same track twice, and it's with the exact same account, so we actually had the first Ghost Of The Month entirely replaced, haha. Interesting. First one to go sub 27 seconds on this track. It had to be him to do it, nicely done. Anonyymi is no strange to winning this award, securing his 6th win in this category (1st this year), which ties him with RadiumRC and Cerasium for the second player with the most wins in this category, just behind Xenom, that has 8 wins. Anonyymi also becomes the 3rd player to have a win in this category in 3 different years (2021, 2022 & 2024), matching the record from RedOrBlue and Cerasium. Great stuff, man. JUNE 2024 - Ghosting Awards Results

GHOSTERS OF THE MONTH

1 - Cerasium - It's giving 2021 vibes again when it comes to Cerasium. 2024 is shaping up to be another dominant year for him and why not a recording breaker year? In 2021, possibly the best year from Cerasium in the database with lots of features won, the Ghoster Of The Year award, 4 big ghosting contest medals and 2 big ghosting contest wins, Cerasium got a total of 4 first places in the Ghosting Awards for Ghoster Of The Month. In 2022, he ended up getting 3, just like he did in 2023, with another 3. We are still in early July but Cerasium already reached 4 Ghoster Of The Month wins in 2024, all of them in a row, which ties an all-time record set by Cerasium himself. Incredible! I don't know where this will stop, but Cerasium is definitely on fire. In May things were more chill, but last month Cerasium brought the heat back with 10 features (9 "new" ones) and several good suggestions and many other cool ghosts in the database. This guy now reaches his 14th Ghoster Of The Month win by Team's Picks, which once again improves his all-time record for wins in this category. As mentioned, this is Cerasium's 4th win in the category in 2024, which is quite solid! What a year for him! It's also his 23rd time among the top 3 ghosters of the month (4th this year, 4th in a row), which is also another all-time record. Keep this up, man! Cool stuff.

2 - NotVeryGood - We were on the fence about who to put in second, but after doing some research we realized that NotVeryGood was a good pick. Last month we gave him a shoutout for grinding multiple classic tracks and getting several leaderboards placements, but we saw that last month the guy simply got like 100+ first places and countless more leaderboard placements in classic tracks. What a grind! This is the guy that likes to grind on popular tracks and that everyone has seen around. If not as NotVeryGood, definitely as Campaigned or Popularized. Insane effort, man! Yeah, maybe Cerasium got a few more relevant or technically better ghosts, but we thought you deserved to be here in 2nd, man. Crazy stuff! As crazy as it sounds, this is only the first time that NotVeryGood finishes among the top 3 ghosters of the month in the Ghosting Awards. That makes no sense, but congrats for joining the club! Let's see if this is the first of many. Keep it up!

3 - mR..A - Not trying to copy last month's post, but... THE LEGEND RETURNS! Just like Anonyymi did in May it was time for another FRHD Ghosting Legend come back to the spotlight. This time it was the one and only mR..A. But the crazy part about this is that just like NotVeryGood, mR..A never won any ghosting award before, not even finishing top 3 in the Ghoster Of The Month award. Which is just nonsense. I remember him getting a few shoutouts here and there, but this time it finally happened for him. Congrats on earning your first one, man! This time we had a kinda slow month and we were really on the fence for this 3rd place battle between mR..A that had some solid ghosts in the database (some on his own new cool tracks) and 2 great trickghosts and erikeriksson2001/piski that had some solid ghosts in the database as well and at least 4 great suggestions in the official featured ghosts thread. We thought it was really close, but we really liked the ghosts we saw from mR..A, that is consistently for over a decade bringing new things to trickghosting, which is just insane. Congrats again, man. We thought mR..A deserved this one. Keep it up, man! If you end up deciding to not break the habit, the upside is that we'll continue to get blessed with iconic ghosts from time to time, haha. Take care!

Shoutouts: The main shoutout goes to erikeriksson2001/piski, that had some really solid ghosts once again. Some dope suggetions in the official featured ghosts thread and many other cool ghosts in the database. Another really close call. I feel like your award should come soon if you keep this up. This is time was actually quite close. Some other players that did well and had some cool suggestions were Uniior and reaperch, with Protvod also having some fair attempts.

Last Ghoster Of The Month Poll Comments: For the second time in a row, Cerasium takes control back with the public votes. This new win related to May keeps Cerasium at the top of this category, now as a solo leader, making him surpass Xenom for the most wins in this category, reaching 13 wins now. This is Cerasium's 2nd win this year in this category. Crazy stuff! Cerasium won with 4 votes (57,1%), against 2 votes for Xenom (28,6%) and 1 vote for Anonyymi (14,3%), so we got a total of 7 votes. Keep it up, guys!

GHOST OF THE MONTH:

A sub 10 minutes on R3 beating that iconic ghost from Cerulean and a sub 11 minutes on R4, that no one else completed without TAS and made it to the leaderboard? INSANE! Just insane! One of the finest moments in FRHD ghosting history. Yeah, we had some other cool features from Cerasium, some good trickghosts from mR..A, among other ghosts, but this one was the one we ended up choosing. What an iconic achievement. This is the 7th time Cerasium wins the Ghost Of The Month award, which makes him surpass the legends RadiumRC and Anonyymi and become the solo 2nd place in the all-time list for that category, just 1 win behind Xenom, that has 8. This is the 3rd win for Cerasium in this category this year, which is already more than what he got in any other year. Pretty solid. Also, this is Cerasium's 7th Double Win. Insane, man. Only Xenom has more (8). Keep it up, man!
