This is a thread that contains most Free Rider HD's terms, well-known and unknown. Feel free to suggest some more, since I might have forgotten some.

Definitions (A-Z)
+1 - term used when an user upvotes a track
Example:
User: Nice track! +1

-1 - term used when an user downvotes a track
Example:
User: Slippery and annoying track -1

Alt - alternate account
Example:
User: My alt is User_2

Alt - an auto with many "frames" next to the rider, connected by powerups. which
Example:
User: My alt is User_2

Auto - an automatic track, where you don't have to press any key, and the track will be completed.

User: Look at my new auto track!

Autogen - an auto-generated track, made with a tool. It can be a imgen (image to track), a offroad autogen (generates a random offroad), etc. it's not recommended to post excessive auto-generated tracks, you can get a lot of hate, since you don't need too much effort to make them.
Example:
User: Is this track an autogen?
User_3: i think so.

Blank - to ignore someone or pretend that you haven't seen or do not know them.

Climb - A type of track, that is similar to offroad and downhill, but more elevated, (starts at a lower place than the last line), and is mostly harder.
Example:
User: Hey @User_3, this climb you made is too hard, i've been 4 minutes trying to beat it, can you make an easier track next time?
User_3: sure

Collab - a track, that was made with the help of 2, or more authors.
Example:
User_3: can we publish the collab?
User: yes

Convo - a forums conversation.
Example:
User_3: i made a convo with you so i can send the track collab code
User: Ok.

Daily - 1. the daily track section 2. a track that appeared at the daily track section
Example:
User_3: yay my track got daily
User: Nice job!

Downhill - a type of track, that is similar to offroad and climbs, but less elevated, (starts at an upper place than the last line).
Example:
User_3: Nice downhill track! +1

EA - Elite Author, a rank given to users when they reach 3 featured tracks, where they can change their title, have a badge both in-game and in the forums, and also help to choose featured tracks, while also having the benefits of an Official Author.

Feat - 1. same thing as featured ghost 2. same thing as featured track

Feet - same thing as feat

Feated - same thing as feat

Featured ghost - a very good first place ghost, which is picked by the ghost moderators. It's similar to the featured tracks, but it's made for ghosts, and doesn't appear in the home page. it can be a trickghost (doesn't needs to be first place, but has wheelies, endos, and some other tricks), vehicle ghost (first place ghost with vehicles), fast ghost (first place ghost) or other. Example:
User: Did you saw Anonyymi's new featured ghost?
User_3: yes, i did. it was crazy!

Featured track - a very good track, mostly detailed, which is picked by users like mr..A, Maple, etc that appears with a badge, and can appear in the home page. You can find some information of them here -> https://community.freeriderhd.com/threads/featured-tracks-information.6291/

FRHD - the initials of Free Rider HD
Example:
User: Should I come back to FRHD?
User_3: yes, you should.

FRWC - Free Rider World Cup, a ghosting competition that happens every year, that uses the same format as the FIFA world cup.
Example:
User: FRWC is starting, i joined it, and i'll try to get to the round of 16, i'm getting better at FRHD
User_3: Good luck!

Gen - same thing as autogen.

Ghost - 1. a replay that appears when you finish the track, and others can see it. it can be yours, or from someone else. 2. ghosting
Example:
User: Look at my ghost!
User_3: cool!
Example 2:
User_3: i think i will ghost this track

right rider - ghost

Ghost Mod - same thing as ghost moderator

Ghost Moderator - a type of player that chooses if a ghost can be featured or not

Ghosting - the act of completing a track as fast as you can, making a trickghost

Ghoster - the player who is good at the game, and ghosts, often in leaderboards.
Example:
User_3: shamatoz is such a good ghoster
User: I think HyperCube is better

Heli - the helicopter powerup
Example:
User_3: i'll make a heli track

Holdup - a track, where you have to only hold the up arrow key, and the track will be completed.
Example:
User_3: wow! my holdup track is in trending!

Hold up - same thing as holdup.

Hot - 1. the hot track section 2. a track that appeared at the hot track section
Example:
User: My track is in hot!
User_3: nice

Imgen - a type of autogen, which you upload a image file, and you get a track code, you import it, and you get a free rider track identical to the image. the colors of the image are rounded to the frhd colors

Exemple image:

The riders at the top are auto-generated, meanwhile the ones at the bottom are normal riders.

Jumps - a kind of track, that usually contains slopes and ramps.
Example:
User: i will make a jumps track now.

Mod - 1. a moderator 2. a modification of the game, which is not built-in the game. For example: input displays.

Moyai - a track trend that was popular at late 2021-early 2022, where there is a moyai statue in the track. famous users, like RadiumRC and xMichaelFTW have made this kind of track.

Never Clear - a track trend, with a track that is mostly a hard trial, with sometimes a geometry dash reference, like a spike or clubstep monster in the track, along with an user at the track name. famous users, like ShamatoZ and Egona have made this kind of track.

Non-spacebar - 1. a type of ghoster that does not spacebar. 2. a ghost, that wasn't made with the spacebarring technique.

NSB - same thing as non-spacebar

NTBF - a track that never will be finished. the author will always be adding new things, until they reach track size limit.
Example:
Long trial (NTBF)

OA - Official Author, a rank given to some users, where they can upload tracks without spending coins, upload tracks without completing, and also have a badge both in-game and in the forums.

ORG - Official Ranked Ghosting, a tournament hosted by Totoca12 in 2021.
Example:
User: ORG is such a hard tournament, these good ghosters keep beating me ;-;
User_3: don't worry, it's not that hard.

Offroad - a type of track, with repeated small lines that are connected. they are mostly harder than jumps tracks.
Example:
User: Man, it's been 7 minutes, and i'm not even halfway done on this offroad ;-;

Punch - Beating a ghost, this term has been popularized by erikeriksson2001/Play_FRHD

PM/DM - same thing as convo.

Spacebarring - a strategy used by most ghosters, where they tap the space bar, press the keys they want, then tap the spacebar again. they have more reaction time doing that.
Example:
User_3: should i start to spacebar?
User: I think so.

TAS - 1. a script that adds invisible checkpoints to every tick that passes, and you can rewind these checkpoints without having to worry about the checkpoint time discount, but changes the time to a very long time (example: 100:00.00), to prevent cheating. 2. a TAS ghost

TAS abusing - the act of using TAS, without changing the time. this is considered cheating.

TAS abuser - someone who does TAS abusing
Example:
User_3: i'm guessing symantec_alt_69420 is a TAS abuser, since he completed Rotate III in 3 minutes.
User: Same. I also think OffroadGhoster is a TAS abuser, he has only 50 points, and stole 12 featured ghosts without even saying anything in the forums.

TBF - a track that will be finished.
Example:
Detail Track (TBF)

Trial - a track made as a challenge, that contains small obstacles, like tubes, bumps, and mostly are harder than jump and offroad tracks.
Example:
User_3: it's been 9 minutes, and i still haven't completed this trial

Trickghost - a BMX ghost, that usually contains brakeflips, wheelies, endos, etc.
Example:
User: Man, Symantec's trickghost is so good, i think it's almost impossible to do
User_3: i agree.

Tube - an obstacle, with two lines separated from each other, mostly by 6 10 grid units. it can also be curved.

Tubing - the act of completing a tube as fast as you can, similar to ghosting.

Trending - 1. the trending track section 2. a track that appeared at the trending track section
Example:
User: This is the first time i get in trending!
User_3: nice, i get there rarely

Wheelie - 1. the act of the rider only touching a line with 1 wheel, it can be faster to wheelie than to ride normally, though it is harder 2. an auto or holdup track where the rider only touches all lines with 1 wheel

I hope there is not any thread like this. I made this thread to help some beginners, that have just started to play the game, and can't understand anything, and people who want to know more of this vocabulary.

If you have more terms, feel free to suggest some more, since I might have forgotten some, and if i made any mistake, reply and say which one was it.

it’s really offensive, actually. but i can not deny Volund of his freedom of speech, and i can not instill limitations on accessible information. so to answer your question, you should add this to the gallery, AND it’s offensive. i can only hope that readers try to understand all perspectives on the matter.

Add tplacella, zycerak, symantec and shamatoz, they're significant figures for different reasons. Maybe also add nsb and featured (tracks and ghosts), provide your own definitions for them.

 

Sure, but I thought the Zycerak definition by Volund was a joke, and it was offensive (Zycerak said it was offensive), so I will make a definition for it and all others.
