14/11 Guide Role on forums removed. A status title given to users on forums granted no privileges and was given largely based on how helpful a player was to others—first given to Calculus in 2018 as a joke title after he kept nagging the moderators that he was worthy of becoming a moderator. By 26/11/2019 it had become somewhat more respected, with a handful of other users also sharing the role. In the end, the role was deemed to make certain people feel official and to prevent begging for power/roles, therefore being ultimately useless.

The server owner role was unhoisted, admin role was renamed to "community staff". Current owner = Stig. Current community staff = Eryp and Totoca12. Current server moderators on this date = Netsik, weem, octo, hotman7777 and pssst.

Major Update! Like HUGE Update...
Version 3.3

• 2015, 2017, 2021, 2022 and 2024 are split into 2 parts, 2020 and 2021 split into 3 parts
• Notable Threads, Sources and Websites from first post moved to own thread Free Rider Game and Forums Directive due to reaching character limit in first post
• Added FAQs to first post
• Added FRHD eras to first post and added 2 more eras: "The Reformative Years" and "The Next Generation" (WIP for finding what the start/end dates for each era signifies)
• Added all relevant contests from FRHD's history, all correctly formatted with rounds/results
• Added more significant threads
• Added all relevant ghosting dates, you can now find every major Official Featured Ghost update, when someone earned a ghosting medal, milestones, records, cheating scandals, events, Top 100 Lists etc
• Added more trackmaking statistics for featured tracks (publish/collab numbers)
• Fixed featured track numbers (95% accuracy)
• Added more important events over the years
• Minor date fixes (30/12/2024)

~200 hours of hard work over 9 months, it has come to this.

Well, I have pretty much completed the Timeline to the way I intended in May this year. I would like to thank:
cctvcctvcctv for the building blocks for this Timeline from 2013-2021. Pie42 and dantexpress for half of the featured track dates. Elibloodthirst for the majority of normal dates and a lot of trackmaking information. Tubiek for helping with finicky dates/information. Totoca12 for pinning the thread. Shoutout to some of the others who helped since May 2024 (Volund, Eryp, Ness and Cerasium. Also can't forget the 60 others who have contributed to both Timelines.

I'm just going to go over each year and ensure I've made no mistakes and correctly format dates. Once I've done that, I'm going to host an event in the FRHD discord server of me sharing and reading the Timeline from start to finish in voice chat. A date hasn't been set in stone yet, I will let you all know ASAP. Let's get as many people as we can in the VC to sit back, relax and relive the history of our great game, and even learn a thing or two! I still have plans for the Timeline in the future but as of right now, the Timeline (for past years) is complete. It would mean a lot to me if you guys can come to appreciate the work I've done.

Once the event ends, I plan to move the Timeline to a brand new thread with the years in chronological order, and reserved posts in the case I need to split years again and for future years.
