Nitro, Nitro, Nitro.
You really pull no punches here.
This track is huge, even for your standards. The sense of scope, the machinery, and the amount of stuff going on during the ride just surprises me that I'm keeping up with it in real time. These words are hard to place exactly, but the reaction time that I have was exactly enough for me to keep up with what was happening and where. The first time I played this, I played it on a zoom setting where I couldn't tell what was grey line or black line, which was both wild to think that it still worked that way, but that I never felt lost in the lines!
I see the bits and pieces of machinery left over from the monk laden islands of old strewn around in the ride, but you relied mostly on your own natural instincts, which I think was the right thing to do with the time allotment.
Could the operating table and accoutrement use some extra depth and love? certainly. Same thing with the lower part of the track.
I do not think that it's really the point.
Starting the track, riding a bit, zooming out, saying "damn."
That's what the track is about.

How interesting is it to see two different trackmakers that decided to go in a BOTW/TOTK direction with this round?
I think this is my personal favorite of the two. The creativity with the ride and reuse of the objects, The amount of extra little details all over the darn place, this encompasses what remixing is about to me.
There are some caveats to copy/pasting so many houses, clouds, and birds together that I'd like to point out. Having all the birds exactly in the same flight shape in a giant mass feels a bit rushed and forced, same as other parts of the trees and houses. Adding small little bits to distinguish the different people's homes, the different birds in the sky (go take a picture of some going by! they're always a little asymmetrical and out of sync by the tiniest fraction. just a bit differently sized. that's what really can make it pop!) could truly sing like the game that inspired it.
I hope you feel proud of yourself for this one, this is a large step up from your previous stuff!

Sense of space and atmosphere is absolutely top notch here. Really cool repurposing of the rock detailing. Are those bridge parts taken from the ride of Ataraxy as well? Kudos.
I do think the one thing this one is thin on is ride. The sea is beautiful and the ambiance is set... For me to do a ten second balloon ride and heli up to things!!!
Having some extra platforms in the sky would've taken away from the lore exactitude of your inspiration, but it may have made for a more engaging piece. Just a thought.

Well now... You bit off a tad more than I think you could chew, eh?
First things first I'd like to compliment sheer giganticness of the temple. Feels HUGE, just as the temple felt in the original game itself.
I'd like to compliment you on the blob part as well, really fun util of those objects, and certainly the most inspired part of the gameplay.
Unfortunately I couldn't find my way past that one truck glitch part. That hurts. The beginning being rather untooled and sketched out sets the scene for a decent chunk of the gameplay that is to follow, I'm afraid.
These go big or go home tracks are really the toughest darn ones to get out the gate. You either win big or you lose personally. But that's also well and truly in the spirit of this contest. Using your ambition to really try and conjure up something beyond anything you've ever held in scope before.
If you had taken this on as a personal project and dumped a good two months of solid work into this, it truly can still be one of the coolest tracks of the year. Besides that, you have a sincere vision that I know you could return to rework any time you're ready.

Great retooling of the objects!!! The statue bobbing on the surface of the sea is a cute little touch.
Seeing people have the ambition to try and make something a bit bigger and larger is awesome for this format of contest. Detail is well executed, if a tad patchy in parts, same as ride.
I feel this track adds into the canon of: "Remix Contest Tracks Based On Oil Rigs", which is an odd thought but hey, whatever works?

What a lovely little minimalist piece you cultivated here!
Remixing and ride are on point, as always. The stop sign before the bombs got me good, as I'm sure it got most everyone else.
You have a knack for coming up with ideas and executing on them with the proper authority. Even for something made quickly and earnestly, your passion and knowledge of this game always shines through. I'm just waiting to see you rip the hinges off the door again on one of these rounds. Patiently, but still.

For how quickly you put this out and dumped it, this is a decent track that could be categorized in that "Pleasant Ride" formula. It makes me think of your other remixes in other contests, on how well you've been able to twist disparate parts of track into something truly your own. Seeing this track be a size of Ultracave or The Well would have been a phenom, I'm sure you know.
Anywho. Just glad I can play another Loge track

It's almost like you've found a Ouija board and are channeling zxwinxz's remix instincts back from beyond the grave!
I had a lot of fun playing this one. The remixing of the main island for the final stretch was well handled. The architecture feels a bit Doctor Seussed, in the way that nothing really has any anchoring from the ground. But I suppose the facility isn't up to code...
You had a lot of fun making this track, and it bleeds through to me. I quite enjoyed this one!

You make track so quickly, and throw it all away just as fast!!!
A good amount of people thus far in the competition have stuck with the general detail quality that our lovely Volund so meticulously scribed at a previous date, and for good reason too. Simple shapes sell.
For being too busy and releasing this quickly out of the gate I see this being solid work. I'm sure with more time and focus you could have smoothed out more bumps and jags that come up when playing the track, but that's how these contests go!
Great redux of both detail and track reuse, would love to see it a bit more whole like how that middle part of the vista feels in the back. Not much to say beyond that, I feel.

The tricky thing that I'm hoping to balance here is that on one hand, I don't want people to ONLY limit themselves to using the objects, as is, slightly used in box, here it is plopped on a canvas, boom. Like stamps, or stickers.
The other hand, however, likes limitations, and exactly what you can get away when one limits themselves to almost only using the objects and finding a way to try and reunify the piece again. Lucky with this round, you have a unifying piece with the center island!
I don't find too much merit in the execution of this. The surrounding parts where things are rearranged, retooled, fun and neat to play. Ripping all but a tiny little edit to the big object feels like an "eh, good enough" kind of move.
You have the tools here. Build something beyond what's already been built! Think of it like how people remix songs. If you hear a remix that's just straight up the same song with a few extra cymbols and tweaks to the mix, do you really need to go out of your way to listen to that remix? Keep it in mind when pushing forward to future rounds.

I can see you had some vision with small imagery around the track, but I don't really see any of the original track still left here! Okay ride and detail beyond that, it certainly feels slap dashed.

I was wondering who would go with a more plank filled track!
It shouldn't be overlooked that I see how you're trying to marry your own artistic ideas with the lines of another. It's a tough thing to balance, especially early on when figuring your own way of trackmaking.
The attention to the line placement is the biggest thing for me. Near all of the lines in Volund's original work are neatly tucked, giving clarity to the image and making it so much easier to see what's really wanting to be looked at and what wants to be glazed over. Lots of things I see you adding after have a scratchier, less confined look, giving a marked contrast between the two.
I don't think there'd be any shame in going nearly all bones of the track and finding your way from there. That's what I used to do! The creativity that you can generate from that could spark a little better for you than trying to match and copy another's work.
Outside of that, the ride's fine, not jostling me in ways I'm not wanting it to, but nothing I would write home to mother about. Taking another look at the original's feeling of weight could give inspiration here too, possibly. There's some pretty cool things you can do with ride, remixing, and detail, but it requires inspiration and a bit more elbow grease.
