      This answer may have been repeated, but I'm not willing to check 4 pages of posts to find out...

      The United States is a melting pot of all cultures, races, and ethnics. Racism is very exaggerated here. I've lived in the USA for my entire life, and as a half-Asian, I have only experienced racism towards me once. And it was a group of black females.

      Now, if you're really scared of the racists, I suggest moving to one of the bigger cities, as they are more accustom to foreigners (LA, NYC, Chicago, Miami, etc).

      In conclusion, you should be fine anywhere in the United States, and I genuinely do hope you come visit and experience our great country at least once more!

      the tx bbq is very good. the resraraunts are pretty much everywhere and they're all good.
