Yes, this overly accurate curve tool is really bad for me especially, because I have an uncontrollably shaky hand. Sorry Eric . We need you. Again.

You shoudn't use the curve tool for ramps though, you should use the straight line tool and draw small lines after eachother each with slightly diffferent angle so that you get a smooth ramp if that's what you're going for.
In my opinion you should just stay away from the curve tool unless you're sketching something that you'll remove later. Straight line tool leads to better thought out and cleaner tracks.

      Arc tool is just lazy.
Indeed as Max says, Straight lines are best. Also, you can't expect to create a perfect curve in seconds, it takes time to get it right, and even then it won't be perfect.
Cky and Ness are probably the only people who can make decent curves.

True dat. But an attempt to make an arc tool or something like that won't hurt.

I know some people have already saud this but all you have to do to make smooth lines is use the straight line tool and then hold shift and snap to the next line and just do that one little line at a time. It goes really quick if you use the snap tool

That is pretty good for grid :) But I prefer not to use grid for jumps because I still feel like I can get smoother or closer to what I want without it

Straight line is actually the best to use because you have full control, curve automatically does it but doesn't always have good results.

Yep and with using shift to line snap it can go almost as quick
