New trump indictment



I haven't seen the court filings yet, so I don't know what the charges are exactly. I'm unsure if they've been made public yet, because I've been unable to find them.

Because of this I'm unsure of what stance to take at the moment. However, after 8 years of ongoing investigations, it's embarrassing that this is the best "injustice" that the Democrat party can come up with.

the supporting details of this indictment were an interesting read, because the majority of it are simply details of possessing the documents. i would say roughly a sixth of the fan fiction lends itself to a crime being committed. but then again most of the charges are misrepresentations of the law.

My opinions about the whole thing, as previously stated in the Argument Thread, are that both Joe Biden and Trump suck as people, but in regards to America's performance as a nation during the presidency, so far Trump is coming out way on top. No crippling inflation, less appointing people to places of power just because of the politically approved narrative. Trump's foreign policies were far more successful, (Ukraine coming to mind specifically.) Trump also took FAR better care of the border. The Biden administration has gone so far as to blatantly lie about the situation there.
Certain things were set in motion during Trump's presidency that were bound to finally surface during Biden's, I will agree. Neither of them did/are doing a perfect job.

Liberals really think this is the nail in the coffin for trump, but in reality this political theater is the catalyst Trump needed to reenergize the GOP base. These, at best, dubious charges will be flop in court or be thrown out. Or even more likely, this case goes on even past the election.

 

Trump speech, basically all about the flimsy case.



Trump is without a shadow of a doubt the Republican nominee for this election. Back to dominating headlines and airtime across all networks, other candidates don't even exist at this point.
