To be quite honest, the noobs in any Free Rider game, possibly any game at all, aren't changeable. There's always going to be noobs that make crap pixel art and hold up tracks. Since they're pretty highly rated, they appear on the Trending/Hot sections, which makes them increase in popularity so fast.
This obviously happens. I remember when I was on another site, and looking back at my tracks today, I could re-upload them here and see it being uprated constantly, lol. To be honest, I was influenced a shJt load by the Featured tracks on there, until I got my own, then went to another site to brag about it.
But really, on all 5 public Free Rider sites I've been on, there's noobs everywhere, and it ain't gonna change.
One thing I do suggest is making a private database for Official, Elite and Featured Track authors. This way, we'll be able to see decent tracks everywhere without spammy hold ups and pixel art, with +20 for more.
How about that guys?
For the site to handle this, the editor could have a tickbox which hides the track from standard noob users. A link to another page shows these tracks. What do you think Char Velksy ?

 

A good solution is to wait.
The community will eventually tame and uncommitted noobs will go away.
even though there will be new noobs, there won't be as many, because if the rate of new players continues smoothly, the experienced players will outnumber the noobs, therefore surpressing them.
think of it like this noob=a player=b time=t

t1 = a/b
t2 = a+b(1)/b
t3 = a+b(2)/b

Many whiles later:

t(n) = a+b(n)/ newrate of b

therefore a(+new a(or +b)) will continue to be greater than b, unless game popularity surges exponentially, but then we can just wait more

 

that will make noobs see only noob tracks, therefor destroying inspiration

 

That's why we can upload on both.

(all tracks must still be uploaded on both)

 

Everyone, just play the tracks you want to play and stop caring about what's on the trending list already. There doesn't need to be a resolution, 90% of players are happy with those kinds of tracks, we might not be but that's why we have the choice of playing the tracks that we do enjoy.
