hey all, there's exactly 2 weeks left until the deadline for the contest! get to work fellas, lotta prizes and money on the line

important update:

we've noticed that quite a few people have said they won't be able to finish their contest entry before the August 22 deadline. in an effort to make it possible for everyone to compete and win prizes, we're making a change.

the August 22 deadline and prizes will stay the same, and any entries submitted before that deadline will be judged like normal.

we are also adding a second phase of the contest. the rules and theme stay the same, but this round has a deadline of September 22. this means that all of the entries submitted after the first round deadline can be entered into the second round for another chance to win. all of the second round entries will be judged against each other, competing for another round of cash and prizes.

I'm essentially doubling the amount of cash being put into the contest now that there are two chances to win, so win some money guys!

so if you're not gonna finish your track before the first round is over, go ahead and take the extra time to make your track great! any questions, let us know!

The track ended up being so big and a pain to upload, it had to be split into two parts. Part 2 will be out tomorrow around the same time. Ness Volund I will dm the full track code to one of you so you can play it in mario mode when it comes time for judging.

 

Is there any way to play the track in Mario Mode without having the track code? Obviously I understand why people wouldn't want to share their code, but I would love to play this track and other ones like it the way they were intended to be played.

 

I'm working on a way to have the track codes automatically loaded into the Mario mode website so people can play them easily. will hopefully have that done soon.
