    It happens but it's relatively rare; it's hard because as time goes on the standards for a feature fluctuates
    The problem is that you could make a lot of cases for various tracks being featured by todays standards. Getting a feature between like 2015 and 2017 was rather difficult, due to a combination of player activity, track featuring methodology and so on, and it wasnt really until 2018 or so when getting a feature was a lot more lenient and doable. Due to this, it makes it significantly easier if tracks that are not featured at the time are left, except for odd cases where there are strong arguments that a track should have been featured around its release, but wasnt (Seasnail's track for example). The ones youve listed now dont have the best of cases for a feature for a variety of reasons, and furthermore you need to bear in mind that tracks by established authors - like Maple, Eli, Cataclysm, etc - are held to a higher standard than normal. And so, while they may release something that would be featured if it were by a new player, it may be left unfeatured by them.

    I think the only one with a case is Tempest by Foundations as it isnt overly old, and was probably good enough for a feat at the time; the rest, however, are fine as is. I cant see making a habit of featuing 20+ old tracks at a time being a good idea, it makes it far too difficult to maintain the feat tracks page

    ye the standards have changed too much to confidently go back and feature something from a few years ago. it's why some of the tracks from bhr weren't featured. being released 5 years ago they were feats, but nowadays they would look out of place.
    the 2 exceptions to this rule were lucid dream by max (which got featured a while after its released because it was initially featured then not for a while before getting featured again) and wintertide, which got feated because it was an egregious oversight. right now no tracks fit the first criterion, and i'd really only say there's 1-2 tracks that meet the second (https://www.freeriderhd.com/t/336773-the-temple and https://www.freeriderhd.com/t/620859-tempest-ft-strat/ ) but thats an opinion on my part. it took a few months of campaigning to get wintertide a feature too, not sure what it would take w these 2 (or anything else for that matter)

    originally tracks that are unfinished didn't get featured, this was 4 years ago when moderation was very strict, even now I don't think this is feat worthy
