If CFOP were to be supreme, other methods would not have been invented and people would not switch to other methods from CFOP.

That's because CFOP is easier to learn and it is an easy transition from beginners method whereas others are not

 

agreed. just because something is underused doesn't mean it's worse, i average around 20 seconds with Petrus.

 

I average 21 with CFOP and 45 with Roux

 

Anyone else use a megaminx it is one of my favorite puzzles that I own

 

I got the X Man Galaxy V2M megaminx, probably the best one out there. I average 2 minutes 30 secs on it. Beginner

 

I can barely get under 5 min. i feel like a noob

 

man just solve casually dont every worry about your times you're doing great. The official world record is under 30 seconds so you are not the only one who feels like a noob
