So I was messing around in the editor, and I had a whole load of boosts aiming at a wall. As I was spamming the boosts, I accidentally placed a checkpoint somewhere amongst the boosts, and when the rider smashed into the wall, the checkpoint registered. This is what position the rider was in when it registered (I erased everything to get a clearer picture):
