ima try and do something simple for each round but i doubt ill be able to follow the timeline so in pending im on time

edit: id love to say in fully in but i got ultima to work on and irl **** so :shrug:

wow, Ness Pie42 Volund Eryp what a playground you guys have set up inside this editor, especially with these fragments for the contest. Played around for an hour or so and made a pretty fun ride. This is great stuff. I almost wish that you guys would give us the track and leave it to us completely to make our own fragments, this remix contest (if people do it) will be unlike anything we've had before. So fun!

So much fun!!! i loved making a ride using already made track fragments!! im almost done with mine its nothing special tho

 

i never imagined when making the mammoth tracks that 5 years later people would be using the individual elements and rethinking the concept, very interested to see what people do with it

pro tips for this type of track -

however you flip/rotate/move/resize the elements.. loads of checkpoints are your friend when building the ride , you can obviously delete the extra ones later but it's key to test every section plenty of times to make sure it's smooth & consistent. if if works every time for you, it'll work every time for others

teleports are your friend for recycling

every few seconds a change in speed or direction keeps things interesting

overall a medium difficulty but an enjoyable challenge is key for the replay factor, if there's one section that really trips everyone up then it could spoil the whole track for people






oh and... in

 

I don't want to act like I'm some pro at this because I'm definitely not but what I have found the very most when both remixing this ride and trying to build other rides like this is that it is always better to get something right the first time. Don't wait to change bits and pieces of the ride later, because it can totally screw up everything else. And if I have one problem section, like Mr..a said, I just get rid of it and restart with something that works.
