they were both extremely good at convincing people. Hitler ignited pride in his country and convinced them that they were better than everyone else, and Darwin in a more subtle way used pride as well because he thought he could explain the whole history of the universe. These theories were passed down to other people who think they are too smart for their world to have created by some "mythical" being, they need a reason for it.

 

To go along with the previous few posts, everyone has their own reasoning to why everything came about. Be it a God or Darwinism both sides put theories of a single man on a pedestal.

Well physical evidence and Einstein's theory of relativity tell that even time had a beginning so obviously god created it somehow or it was something else
