Please regard; this is all just my opinion, hardly based in fact just observation and intuition.

God, Allah, Zeus, etc are all the same entity. The entity/entities that many humans worldwide worship is grounded with the idea that their certain deity created the world, and the universe. What this all boils down to is this. "God" is what we call the Universe. Everything in this vast Universe is "God". From every living being, to every non-living object, is part of the Universe. Humans live on planet Earth, which resides somewhere (approx location n/a) in the Universe, or Multi-verse, whatever suits your fancy. Therefore all of us are a part of God. We are made in "God's image", technically the Universe's image, from millions of years of physical and metaphysical evolution. God is inside of us, God is around us, God is everything; because God is the Universe, and what is part of the Universe is a part of God, everything from small atomic particles to expansive galaxies. We are lucky enough to be alive and experience the Universe firsthand, which is very beautiful. Although what is very different from various religious teachings is the concept of afterlife. This is where my "religious beliefs" come in per say. I believe what happens after we go through our death cycle is we become reunited with "God", "Universe", "Allah", etc. To put in a basic way simply for understanding, when we are alive, we are made of matter, from the smallest atoms in our body to the biggest organs and bones, all in all factually speaking, we are simply matter. Now, our matter is consciously aware of its existence (by "our matter" I mean each and every person individual), so we all are matter that realizes it exists. We go through our life cycle of existing/living, of knowing that we are alive and exist every minute, every second, and every day. Then once we die, we still are matter, we still are all those cells that are put together to form our physical body, but the only difference is we do not know we exist anymore (our mind is gone). Our cells may become clumped with dirt or diversify with the Earth, but we are still part of the Universe and we still exist, even at the most microscopic level possible. This is when we become "One with the Universe" if you will. This may not make much sense but if anyone has trouble comprehending I'll try and make it sound more lucid.

"Energy cannot be created or destroyed, it can only be changed from one form to another."

Ok, I'm going to correct you from a scientific level but I like your opinion:
    1. Quantum Physics states that all matter is 'aware' of other matter and that is the reason the universe exists otherwise it would just be a soup of improbability.
    2. The universe was not known about untill about 300-400 years ago before than humans had religion but no scientific evidence of the universes existence.
    3. (My opinion) Why does 'God' care or even comprehend humans worshipping she/him/it 'God' is so immensely incomprehenable that it would care whether the tiny insignificant humans on a tiny backwater planet amongst a universe of billions of similar backwater planets pray or worship it.

I have been brought up as a Christian and go to a Christian school. The best explanation for the origins of everything that I have seen is in a fiction series called The Last Dragon Chronicles.

    1. Yes that is correct, which flows with what I was saying.
    2. For all we know today, there could be hundreds of thousands of Universes in our cosmos, scientists have recently discovered the possibility of Multi-verses; but my basic point is the same. Everything that exists, is part of the Universe, no matter if we have insight about it or not.
    3. He doesn't in my opinion. God doesn't exist as some form of 'being' like us that has a physical body that has goals, dreams, and rules. 'He' is literally everything that is in existence, because 'He' is existence. The only 'rules' God has is the basic laws of physics and Universal laws.

And I hear ya man, sometimes fiction is a good representation of reality and how it all started. This man has influenced me a lot, spiritually; even though there is not 100% proof of what he is claiming to be, and you may think I'm crazy for even mentioning him, but his wisdom can break the walls of anyone's mind if they have the ears to listen.

That's a bit weird definition of god, because even atheists can believe in that kind of god. Usually "god" is defined as a supernatural being or a mind that transcends space and time. I would say that "God" is what we call the answer to the question "Why is there something rather than nothing?"
