Basically I believe in God but I don't fall into a certain sub-religion like Catholicism or Evangelism

 

oh. me too. i am a christian. nothing deeper than that.

 

All religions are amazing to me and I love the history of them and learning about each, but I wouldn't consider myself anything. Too young to decide.

 

As a mere mortal, I do not feel I have the knowledge to have a firm belief in how this world is created and what spiritual or godlike beings may or may not inhabit it. However, I find scientific findings to be more believable than a book some dudes wrote thousands of years ago. But again, you never know, and I certainly don't.

I don't see why people can't just understand that people have the need to believe in something, if it's the not the same as you then whatever, no biggy and as long as it doesn't harm others than who cares? People are destined to favour one thing over another.

My family is Christian, and my mother is getting more and more annoyed with my insubordination. I've never been able to believe any of the stuff I've been taught, and I haven't found any religions I really like. I'm not particularly against anything, nor do I have any big prejudices agains groups, but people have used religion to back their negative opinions against me, which obviously puts me off to what they have to say. I actually think religion is great and can heighten a person's self esteem and awareness, but too often extremism takes a role and ruins it for the rest of the group.
To sum it up, I don't believe in anything at the moment (maybe it'll change with age), and I'm fine with what you practice as long as it doesn't interfere with my life.

 

Not too hard to believe. Even the most skeptical won't freely wander an abandoned house in the middle of nowhere without getting the creeps. I mean, if they don't believe in the paranormal...why would it scare them?

This is kind of relevant here so...anyone notice the total hypocrisy and double standards present in today's left wing?

• when a cop kills someone, all cops are evil f*cks.
  
• when a Muslim kills someone, anyone who dares criticize Islam is a "racist bigot"
• Christianity is unfairly held under scrutiny constantly and Islam seems to have been handed a golden immunity card
• Feminists, who are almost exclusively on the left (and mostly non-religious, mind you) criticize Christianity for it's misogynistic verses that almost no Christian holds onto, yet defends Islam despite the demonstrable and rampant misogyny running even to this very day. It is the one ideology in history that has oppressed women the most.

 

Those are more the obese SJW Tumlrinas tbh. (lol) I'd hope most sane people don't hold those contradictory views and only the vocal minority do. I certainly don't and would consider myself "liberal".
