i've been quite tired lately. college in the morning, in the afternoon when i come back home im pretty tired. i dont have enough time to do all the stuff i want to do. so sometimes i sadly sacrifice some studying time. which i should change. i waste too much time watching videos. i think i came up with a good routine today tho. for every 30 minutes of studying, i reward myself with 15 minutes of video watching. this should motivate me enough to study. i kinda tried it today and it worked. i found out that this is what works for me.
my point being from all of this, if you're struggling to focus on your homework, try different methods. maybe there is something specific that helps you focus more. it could be totally random. but never stop trying. knowledge is good. even if its kinda useless. try to find the balance of fun and homework. and always think ahead.
i just thought i'd share it. you've probably heard of all this before. and if you have, then this is a reminder.
also please stop posting random short messages here guys. just dm each other.

I don't think that's how vaccines work dude.
Bottom line, I'm pretty sure they trigger an immune response. So your body will keep track of the pathogen or the piece of that pathogen (mRna, protein, etc) so it knows how to deal with it if it encounters it again. You ever heard about the flu vaccine? Oh you'll also get an immunisation shot, booster shot, etc so I don't know how this is a problem. Though it all comes down to your choice so, I can't change that (obviously)

Ngl, you do make make me a bit sad for I am a christian and you're saying utter foolishness. If this were going to last another 7 years, god wouldn't have giving scientists the knowledge and capabilities to make a working and productive vaccine in a pandemic LMAO. At the end of the day, no one knows how long this will last.

Oh rule #1 about the internet
Don't always believe what is on the internet unless it's cited and credited properly by a valid source
    That's wonderful to hear Madara.

I've also found myself a way of staying long hours doing homework without losing focus. Classical music really helped me and just taking 15 minute breaks for every 45 minutes of work really goes a long way. I've also realised that starting assignments is harder than finishing them. So to kickstart my work or studying, I devote some time and just do it. Though don't forget about sleep. Sleep is very important in retaining information. So try to get at least 8-10 hours sleep (8 minimum). Whether that be going to bed earlier or making a solid plan. Oh! Napping works too (yes it seems like a old folk or cat thing but it works sometimes).

unless you can cite me a source that will convince me otherwise, you are dead wrong about that.
Vaccines contain a weakened version of a virus that's usually not strong enough to make you sick, depending on how strong your immune system is. The reason it is weakened is to help your body recognize that there is a virus attacking you (though it wont harm you). When your immune system gets attacked, it makes a note of what type of virus is attacking so it can remember for future cases of being exposed to the same virus, in this case, covid. This prepares you so if you get exposed to the real thing, then your body with simply recognize it from the vaccine you were given previously and get rid of the virus before it can spread throughout your body. theres no altering of dna, just a simple way to prepare for a real virus attack before its too late.

Yes, some vaccines are made to trigger an immune response from the body in order to develop antibodies to help combat the virus when an individual is exposed to it. The mRNA shot on the other hand teaches the cells to create a protein that triggers an immune response to combat COVID-19, so yeah pretty much the same and I don't know why I wrote this.
No I have never heard of the "flu vaccine" yet I have heard of the flu shot. Google defines a vaccine as "a substance used to stimulate the production of antibodies and provide immunity against one or several diseases, prepared from the causative agent of a disease, its products, or a synthetic substitute, treated to act as an antigen without inducing the disease." As you can see I have put "immunity" in bold and underlined it. A covid "vaccine" does not actually prevent you from catching the virus, although it lessens the chance of you preventing mild-severe symptoms which is ultimately what is likely to kill you (I think). From the numerous sources I have read including the ABC (Australian not American) and Australian Health they commonly say vaccines are effective at reducing the risk of developing symptoms associated with COVID-19, but none of them actually state the effectiveness of reducing transmission, leading me to believe that they do not actually play any significant factor in transmission. It was also found that Pfizers (or whatever its called) effectiveness dropped from about 88% to 47% within 6 months, which is a sizeable margin, so the governments are drilling into us that we'll need booster shots. Now let me get my point clear, the covid-19 vaccines are not vaccines but they play an essential role in minimising deaths and hospitalisations as a result of infection from COVID-19, which will put less strain on the hospitals. I also believe that vaccines should not be mandatory to anyone as they do not give 100% protection from the virus and any mandates on vaccination is discriminatory and ruins the livelihoods of anyone who is not willing to or cannot receive the vaccine. Also I have absolutely no idea what you were trying to say or what your point was.
His religion has nothing to do with his point really, but he is not saying utter foolishness. His point about vaccines changing DNA is a simple misunderstanding. When reading up on how the covid vaccines work it did sound like it changed the DNA of the recipient but it actually just teaches cells how to combat the vaccine although I must admit it does sound somewhat similar. COVID 19 is essentially a worse form of the flu and I do believe that unless a vaccine is developed that completely halts transmission person-person, then it will always be around. This virus can be eradicated before then though if we all maintain social distance and keep up good hygiene habits, which is also one of our best defences against the virus. Also we do not have a 100% productive and working vaccine yet, although as I mentioned before it helps the body not die, but as you said we cannot tell how long this will last unless of course we discover the secrets to time travel.

In regards to your rule you are absolutely correct. Having access to lots of information does not necessarily mean that the information will always be true and this can even be applied to this post if you want to. Having it cited by a valid source however does not mean it is true although it is definitely more credible, because even accredited health professionals and scientists have been wrong before and within their fields there are mixed opinions on different things and evidence that supports both theories.
I would suggest you read the start of this.
People do not want to or cannot get the covid vaccine for a variety of reasons, these being:
    1. They do not believe there has been enough testing on the vaccines safety and are particularly concerned about the long-term effects.
    2. Some people have had adverse effects to the vaccine. For Example someone I know in their mid-late 50's got shingles after their vaccination.
    3. They literally cannot get the vaccine because they could literally die or experience some form of complication from the vaccine such as my grandad who has had cancer 3 times and recently had surgery after he fell down some stairs and whacked his head on a gas tank.
    4. They are fueled on by some untrue conspiracy theory about the vaccine like it tracks you.
    5. They don't see the point if it doesn't work 100% of the time and they are unlikely to die.
    6. They want to be unique.
As I said before this vaccine does not prevent transmission and death from the virus, so even with a fully-vaccinated world cases will still exist. Israel is one example of an almost fully-vaccinated country opening up because of vaccination rates, but their cases literally blew up to like 16,000 or something (don't quote me on this).

Ok guys sorry for the long post, but yeah I poured my heart out on vaccination. I have not spell checked anything so yeah and if you have anything to fact-check please do so, I'm open to being better educated.
tldr; vax is not 100% effective and shouldn't become mandatory, but it still prevents death and hospitalisation.

guys believe me christiansareawesome is correct about vaccine changing your dna. last week i went to his house (which is actually worth $10m) and he showed me his PhD in vaccinology and a Bachelor's in 5G connectivity. all of yall who are saying that he is wrong are stupid. i saw with my own eyes his lab where he ran tests of the covid vaccine on lab rats. all of your hate is void and nullified

Depends on how you define immunity, really. In biology, immunity is the capability of multicellular organisms to resist harmful microorganisms, as defined by wikipedia. notice how it says "resist". vaccines have never been advertised to make your body impenetrable to viruses, but they are able to give your immune system an upper hand when a virus tries to sneak up on it.
Vaccine immunity and remembrance of certain viruses by the immune system can deteriorate over time. if your body is not exposed to a certain virus over time, our immune system can forget about it and become vulnerable to it again. hence the need for booster shots. if you havent gotten sick from a virus in a while, you can get a booster shot to help bring back some old memories that your immune system will hold near and dear for the next few months or years.
Vaccines do not actually play a role in transmission, which when you think about it, is kind of obvious. just think, you have a mouth, ears, nose, and lots of pores on your face. do you really think a vaccine is going to close all of those holes shut so a virus cant get in? i sure hope not. vaccines do play a role in identifying microorganisms that come into your body though. if, for instance, someone with covid coughs on you and you breath in a few viruses. if you have the vaccine, the body will recognize from the shot that its another covid trying to breach the body, and it will swiftly eliminate the threat. if you dont have the vaccine, the body will just kind of ignore the virus, until it starts reproducing and attacking your body, and you get sick. then, it will eliminate the threat, (or sometimes not) but not after youve already been ill for days.
also, the flu is a virus. vaccines are made for viruses only. therefore, the flu shot is actually a vaccine for influenza, which people just shortened from "influenza vaccine" to "flu shot". crazy how people have been getting these vaccines for years and dont even know what they do
About the effectiveness rate of Pfizer, in the months following the vaccine's release, people around the world have been getting these shots every month. with millions of people worldwide, its hard not to believe that some people dont understand that vaccines do not provide complete immunity to the virus, and with people all over the place not waering masks "because theyre vaccinated", gathering in public venues, and just overall not being very hygienic, it is to be expected that the more people that get vaccinated, and become less safe about the virus, the more people are going to get sick, regardless of their vaccination or not. it isnt as if no one got vaccinated over the course of the 6 months you mentioned, we just received more data on how common breakthrough cases were with more people being irresponsible.
in regards to the "fully vaccinated world" claim, i'd like for you to look back at all of the viruses that were eradicated by vaccines. Smallpox, Polio, etc. were viruses that used to exist, but dont anymore thanks to vaccines. you can't expect everything to go away so quickly, with so much of the world still unvaccinated

i dont think you should assume so quickly what he meant by three words but thats just me
