So my year is ending terribly and it might lead me to deleting my socials and leaving here for a while or forever. My cousin's have been distancing themselves from my aunt and uncle and me because my cousin's mom thinks my aunt talks sht about her when she doesn't. My cousin always has a party on December 31 because his birthday is on Jan 1st but we were never invited today and I know they are having a party because his sisters bf posted a story about it but we were never invited and we've always been going to the parties. I've noticed they've been acting differently and I watched their dogs for 2 weeks and all I got was a thank you and nothing else... It's messing with my mental health and it's more than just my cousin's... It's my supervisor at work and stuff... I just can't take this sht anymore... 2026 will be drama free...I'm not dealing with any sht...if people in my family start sht I'm just gonna block them and never talk to them...so this might be goodbye forever but I know no one cares about me leaving because I'm hated...so cya

Ngl im not somebody who likes to say much as I really haven’t gone through much in my life, but I felt like I might say something bc as I’ve struggled with coming to terms with what mental health really means. I’ve grown up denying it and for the most part just letting time get rid of sadness which worked ig. But now I’m in yr 12 which might I say is freaking scary because I love where I’m at right now. So I thought I might reach out to a community that I’ve been around for over 7 years now. I love my friends and my life is great but im so scared about making the wrong decision as to my career and like moving out and stuff. I don’t wanna say too much but I’m keen to hear what some of u (older lads especially) think abt this. Doesn’t have to directly relate to me bc i realize that I might not be the only one at this stage in life. Mb if I look like a clown opening up but at the same time you can **** bc ts is new to me haha no seriously though any advice lads?

 

In this day and age, living with your parents for as long as possible is completely normal, as buying a place is harder than ever. Once you finish school, have an idea of a career path and make a plan on how you will get there, that may be just gaining experience in a part-time job and slowly working up over time, doing a degree, an apprenticeship etc. It doesn't have to be crystal clear now (like the most specific job), but try to stick with a field or something that offers different avenues.

Once you graduate high school, you want to be actively working towards a future you will be happy in and perhaps earn good money. If you aren't going to university, your first bet will be getting a job (if you don't have one). Find a hobby, something you will do every week. This may be a sport, recreation, it helps stimulate the mind and helps reset your body whilst still being in a sense of familiarity. Don't cut off gaming, but definitely reduce how long you play daily. There is time better spent elsewhere and you don't want to fall into a bad routine or addiction, like many other things. Keep life in check and fresh, healthy routine and habits. You decide what that is.

Hold onto your current friends and make new ones depending on the environments you are in. Trust me, social life is important; being lonely is a detriment. Work on qualifications while working or finding a job like your driver's license, first aid etc. They open up opportunities and give you more freedom, in the short and long run.

Im considering either doing ADFA or more likely moving to perth and living with some of my relatives while I work on a carpentry apprenticeship.i hate the idea of uni bc you pay for a lot and gain so little, and I think hex debt is a terrible thing for the youth haha. You’re right about gaming, I see myself slowly losing that even now though I will never give it up. In terms of qualifications im on track with my Ls and I’ve got a WWVP qualification but Im working on getting qualifications more aimed toward a trade like carpentry. I don’t got much money in the bank rn I used to be working two jobs two yrs ago but I had to lock in for ‘college’ for Americans, ‘high school’. It doesn’t really worry me but I’m a big car guy so getting a car, legit any car that I can work on and has good fuel eco would be dope. Thanks for taking the time to respond, I’ll keep this in mind for sure.

I got it the quiz from a different server, someone sent it there, so I jokingly said "I think ill get hitler". But the guy who sent it was glorifying some of the most horrible people in existence, so I got mad and started to report his ****. But I guess he got salty and reported mine too. So now we're both banned. Luckily only for one day.

My life is good--great, really--I live on the very tip of Mexico where its summer 365 days a year, I have friends on Frhd who I talk to everyday, I'm making money from modeling, I'm making money with my art skills, I travel the world....But nothings ever perfect, I have fatal flaws in my life that you guys might not. Don't get me wrong, I love how I'm living, it's just that some other aspects of my life could be improved upon...

just thought of this. volunds creativity month has got me trying out poetry. It feels so narcissistic and weird to go into depth about this line but...
I really am just set free by this, i feel like i understand if you know what i mean. I think I think. I think a lot. I was thinking about this, what i thought was, what is a hallway? is a hallway anything meaningful? what do you find in a hallway? nothing theres fcking nothing in a fcking hallway fck hallways. but wait, dont fck hallways. theyre really useful they get you places. people say a "door to new opportunities" well fck doors, why does no one talk about hallways??? how you gunna get to the door huh? through the hallway! But now, what is a wall. well to me a wall is a place where progress stops. a standstill so to speak. so while you may be able to walk forever and having nothing stop you, what did those steps mean. you may as well have been standing still. No matter how much you try to something, if you go about it the wrong way. Youll just be walking that same fcking hallway. you gotta open new doors try new things. you know? you cant be afraid, i cant be afraid. The hallway is not the destination. Just because it goes somewhere doesnt mean its the right where. open the doors yall

Were you able to get some rest? Even though you may not actually be that tired, the feeling came from somewhere, and I feel like that can sometimes become the onset of something worse.
