I don't know if someone already posted something like this...
For everyone who doesn't know how to interpret the result: Here is a guide on various social ideologies, economic theories and political philosophies arranged in the compass.

Its "conservative *because* i don't care what other people do,...". Because you don't see the problems of the society as a whole and you are ignoring principles like privileges, you think each one is as we say in germany "seines eigenen Glückes Schmied" (smith of his/her own fortune). When you realize that self-determination is an illusion, because beyond the Uncertainity Principle by Heisenberg true coincidence doesn't exist, you will see that each act is completly determined by externial influences.

yea, but for a functional society we need to assume free will does exist, even though we don't know for sure that it does. otherwise a murderer could be considered simply a victim of circumstance.

imo if you bring more value to society, you should get a larger vig of that put into ur bank account. a mcdonalds worker simply is not as valuable to society than the guy who founded mcdonalds

    (1) No, we don't have to. We just have to acknowledge that law and law enforcement are some of those external influences. With the assumption, that everyone has a completely free will, circumstances will never effect a judgement. A sample for that would be, that "self defense" doesn't exist, because we are ignoring the circumstances, that led to the violence.

    (2) To measure the value of a life simply by their job is strong neoliberal bias and leads to view on a human being, which is cut from his social interaktions. A McDonalds employee, although he doesn't increase a GDP by much, could be a good mother or has other extremly valuable properties. A well paid job and the availability to lots of money doesn't make someone to a better society member. In fact, quite the opposite. Studies showed that people become more selfish and greedy and donate smaller shares of their income the more money they have. That's one of the problems, why we have a growing gap between the poor and the rich worldwide.
Another problem of your ideology is, that it leads to a resentment against people who aren't working. And at the end the reason doesn't matter. Neoliberal ductus is that deep in our today's thinking, that everyone who gets money from the state to live is considered a "social parasite" and on the other site state aid for companies (which are way way more then the aid for private persons) is considered necessary and a contribution to society.
And here we still ignore the fact that any positive GDP leads to negative GDPs in other states, where workers are exploited for our luxury and we thus indirectly lead to poverty, which is seen as despicable by the neoliberal ductus.
