Our very first campaign contest!

SWEET!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Sorry I am just like really excited to see what happens next You guys are making this game so awesome

 

Hey guys, the first campaign contest is nearly coming to a close. The last thing we are asking is that everyone who has created a track for the contest is to now upload their track in the regular way that many of you will be accustomed with.
A few of basic rules around the tracks.

• Do not use false votes to boost your track
• Do not mention campaigns or track # in your track title
• do not add a generic track name such as "contest entry"

Once uploaded, we will be taking player votes and completion rates into consideration as we pick out the final winners, we plan on rewarding all participants regardless of the contest outcome. All players will be able to see the winners once the campaigns have been officially release, true surprise for everyone. Please let us know if you have any questions

I can't upload mine at the moment but in about 12 hours I can. Will I be too late by then?

 

Nope, we will be keeping the submissions open for as long as possible but preferably before Wednesday. We will be messaging individuals if they show no sign of activity as the deadline approaches.

There we go, that's my entry for number 2!
I'm not sure how this voting thing will go. If we have players who have no idea about this contest playing this track, they will be disappointed of how short (and painfully easy) these tracks are.. I have a feeling most of these tracks will have a negative rating from most of the community. Also, it's kind of not fair that some people have had their track up for a day longer than me.. There was no way I would have been able to post yesterday, so how is that fair for me? I will obviously have less votes and plays than everyone else.

 

Do not fret over track ratings, we are mostly taking vote ratios into account instead of vote count. Even then, we will be holding internal testing and using completion rates as a better judge.

 

Ahahaa.. So, I can take 1 like and 0 dislikes and win with an infinite ratio?

Okay wait wait wait.. So the deal is that the community ISN'T supposed to know about the campaign contest? Because my track (entry for #2) is kind of required to say: "Earn medals for completing campaign tracks!"
I don't know if that gives anything away or something.. (sarcasm) .. But I think the community will know what's coming, and know that they didn't have the chance to participate.

Have you guys set a date for the contest to come to a close? I know some people needed more time but I was wondering if you could at least give us a timeframe. Thanks!

 

I think the contest is closed and they are just wrapping a few things up for the campaign. Total guess but I would think we could see it some time this week
