Yeah, sure. Maybe not that strict in terms of people having to post on forums everything all of the time. But if there's a new random account beating everyone's ghosts we'll straight up ignore them if they don't identify themselves. No participation in the top 100 list, ghosting awards and official featured ghosts. If we have reasons to suspect the ghoster is a cheater we can even consider a ban or the deletion of the ghosts. Yeah, I know that it kind of takes away the opportunity from "mysterious ghosters", such as Leatherface, Alzakhion, Trickghost, Silent-Rider and players like those (although we know who most of them are nowadays), but those players can still exist, they just won't be considered in the "official ghosting threads", so we can have some control of what's happening in the ghosting community and don't encourage people to try to deceive the community in other ways, like it happened with Cerulean, Symantec and many others over the years. Yeah, I know that's not the end of the world, but we have been tricked by cheaters too many times, so I honestly don't have the time for this. So yeah, maybe the player don't need to post everything on forums (although that would be recommended), but if we can know who it is somehow (maybe Discord as well), it's fine. If it's not clear, then is more safe to assume that they player wants to hide something, even if their intent isn't to cause harm, in some instances. I just think that nowadays it would be rare to see someone that is really good and beats many featured ghosts that isn't aware of what we do on forums. If it happens and we can prove that the player is legit in a different way that doesn't use the forums, I'm fine with that too.
