hi. professional ghoster zycerak here. that 0.08 second average between spacebars is kind of bull honkey and i am very surprised i have never seen it brought up before! i just tried 100 times spacebarring and going my absolute fastest i averaged 0.13 in between spacebars (i go a lot slower when i am actually space barring a track, around 0.27 is comfortable). i only managed a 0.07 once using two fingers. averaging 0.08......... i simply dont believe a 0.03.....so consistently pressing 0.7 way more often than not... with one finger? helloooo people! wake up! maybe the flowers that i just smoked (thats right, i smoke flowers. cool right?) is causing my mind and body to be slowed, so i would love someone else to try this! anywho, getting deathless on rotate iii, like, come on guys, i saw that and i was like "LOL! yeah... right..." i could sit behind Symantec in real life and watch him spacebar it deathless in real time and i still wouldnt believe him i would kill myself on the spot because the existence of something incomprehensible and larger than us is afoot and the existential horror of my false reality would immediately cause me to lose my grip

In regards to your statement about lack of proof, I posted the average time between inputs and expressed how I find it suspicious along with other factors including more or less agreeing with 3 other people and their statements in this thread. Proof implies damning evidence, but I don't believe evidence needs to be immediately and obviously damning to be allowed consideration.

 

Your sarcasm is funny, but I really am interested in learning whether or not my suspicion is justified. You are one of the people I would think could clarify things, but this isn't helping.

 

If I remember correctly we_are_number_one (the best and funniest ghoster) was said to be a fraud by none other than freaky t himself, although we_are_number_one (the best and funniest ghoster) streamed consistently and recorded his gameplay the coolest thread ever aka the non spacebar featured ghosts thread was shutdown due to the uncertainty of we_are_number_one. Him being so devastated by the shutdown of the thread switched platforms and became a mobile ghoster!!!

Oh wow, I remember when I was a bit suspicious of you lol. That faded fast though. I don't believe the same would happen with this thread though. Can't really say why besides it is much bigger and harder for cheating to become widespread (I think). Seems like suspicious ghosts are vetted quick and easily enough anyway. How many times in the past have suspicions arose against anyone in the featured ghosts thread?

I perfectly agree although if they removed all Symantec's ghosts and banned him, then we might no have to close the thread. It's just a suggestion.

It's been three pages since I have seen a feat suggestion, I think It's time we have a forum dedicated to ghosting conversations.

 

Symantec hi, what can you provide to prove your legitimacy?

 

I really hope this thread doesn’t get shut down. It’s my favourite thing about this game, and I like this game very much. It took me a lot of time to get my 2 features, and I’m working towards getting my recognized ghoster medal. Getting featured ghosts is like the ultimate goal in this game for me.
Cheaters just ruin this game for ghosters, and I really don’t understand what the point of cheating is.

I just really don’t want this game to die

It does help to go slower when trying to do more tech heavy tracks to a certain extent, especially if someone is used to going faster in their average play

Kinda can depend, I was confused on the ticks thing again, I thought 1 tick was 1 frame, if so then managing under .07 seems plausible
.07 spacebars are not that difficult to get, and if you press two different keys in between spacebar pauses, you can manage frame perfect inputs then, although not as controllable due to having to time it
As for the frame perfect timing, maybe you meant a .03 spacebar? that's not impossible, got it a few times, but I don't know if this is what you meant, so won't add more

Guess everything needs to be taken in a stride, personally I think (and truly hope) that he reformed, cause it would suck to find out the worst about a pal who came back

problem is it's easier to steal rather than to suggest, at least it was in the latter half of 2021 hunt from boost, sannin, and some others
