yeah i dont really like input display it really distracts me i find i can concentrate on making a better ghost without that on because it's just flashing in the corner of my eye. does this happen to anyone else? yeah having really high attention deficit disorder and stuff probably doesnt help with that
I'll try to get on at that time. I have class and a lot of work, so I might forget. Input displays will display inputs whether they are done by a person or a program, so that doesn't actually prove anything. It just helps to see more clearly what inputs are being made. Weirdly, I like the input display. At first it was distracting (much like the LiveSplit timer for speedrun.com), but now I kind of like it there although I don't use it much because it disappears every time I reload the page and have to keep repasting it in the console (I don't use a mod for it).
http://frhd.co/t/259634/r/symantec the psycho beat tafr on rotate 3 on stream so feat this or you're stupid
let me preface this by saying what symantec has done in ghosting is crazy impressive. that being said, symantec flawlessing r3 has put the nail in the coffin. you really need to get a life dude. like it is not good at all to be this heavily focused on ghosting, for any reason. call me crazy, but i think it would be best for tot or eryp or madara or one of the feats mods to restrict somehow/even downright tell symantec to just take a break from ghosting for a week or two. tot was even alluding to that in the last feat ghost update where he said it was 'unhealthy'. he's right. i genuinely think symantec needs to stop. whats the point of ghosting if someone like symantec can just do it better then you exponentially. that takes the competition out of ghosting, the aim and strive to do the best you can. knowing that your best will never actually be good enough. no throwing shade to you symantec, like dude it's crazy what youre accomplishing, but mate you really need to take a chill pill and regain focus on what is actually important. this is coming from someone who heavily placed too much importance on frhd for too long and as a result my general overall mental wellbeing (mate i hate how that sounds lol) just declined. idolising and focusing on trivilaties like this just isnt worth it in the long run, no matter how good you feel in the moment any average joe on frhd has probably realised i am not anywhere near qualified to be offering opinions on ghosting, but this is just my thoughts on this topic. but i really do think that symantec should heavily slow done the rate of his ghosts. rip anon bt noob rob (but not zycerak)
I agree with a lot of this, but I do think this is the sort of thing to take up privately with the individual in question and not in a public forum. This isn't me minimodding, just my opinion on topics like this. It just doesn't feel right publicly discussing something personal to an individual with many others in a public thread. Personal things should be discussed directly and privately with that person and not between 3rd parties in a public thread. Things can get very uncomfortable very fast otherwise (and in my opinion it is already heading there). edit: so I wrote this after several days of little sleep and an all-nighter, so I'm probably not thinking very clearly and misinterpreted dante's post. It's been up long enough though, so I feel weird deleting it.
you still have to understand the physics, that helps alot. e: Symantec don't stop, keep going beat all the ghosts lol u guys r all sore losers lol
considering the memorization for the tracks needed incase you want to do long tracks, then it would take a considerable amount of time, probably a very long time at that
waitwaitwait i dont play frhd too much (nvm scratch that i play like an hour and a half a day ) but yeah ok. surprisingly enough, i actually go outside and touch snow a good amount i mostly wanted to get good so people were actually nice to me but seems like it's backfiring e: if you write an essay to reply to this, tplacenta, i will eat your forehead
