yea i get it, but because of the character limit on forum posts we need to keep the links as brief as possible. that way we can keep all the ghosts on just one post

 

Yeah, I agree. But this was the way we found to delay the character limit issue for as long as we could. We hope to be able to change it someday.

I suggested this, but in my understanding it seems that it looks shorter, but in the way that these BB codes work, it'll be stored in a longer format in the post.

Eryp sent me an image a while ago explaning, and comparing to some other code related things I have worked with, it does makes sense that in the end, a more user-friendly and good looking visualization would have more characters and commands attached to it than a simple one.

In the left you see what is actually happening to make the output look like it is in the right. If I'm wrong, please someone enlighten me on this. I'm not that much familiar with BB Codes. I talked to mR..A, we tried some stuff, but it didn't work. Will see if I can talk to Char about it. But if anyone has an idea, feel free to suggest. Separating the main post in 2 posts and choosing a shorter format for the links of the ghosts were the temporary solutions that we were able to come up with. Let's hope we can improve it in the future.

 

I don't really know where else to say this:

Mods can now remove ghosts! All these 0;001 sec ghosts etc I can now just delete to keep the leaderboard fair
