I don't base feelings on any of my beliefs since I take none of this personally. It seems to me that YOU are the one mixing feelings with facts here since you even brought up the claim, and have some exaggerated idea about the message a border wall would send. I agree that doing so isn't fine for doing the right thing. For a long time I have been a passive observer of this whole situation, and after seeing the issue from the viewpoints of multiple news sources, I have logically concluded that we need a border wall.

I am well aware of Obama's border spending, including the idea to put a "wall" (a fence really) along the southern border. How does that change anything? A wall plan has never been enacted before, there are no known failures with Obama's border security plan. It is logically defensible to say that the Democrats aren't exactly against a border wall, they are against Trump. Like your first article said, their hatred blinds them into seeing just how simply effective walls are.
"You can not change and make up facts to suit your purposes."
Fully agree. Not sure how that applies to this discussion though. We just have different opinions.

This is what you said. Then you said you were well aware of Obama's border spending:

You are changing your positions as we discuss, just like you flipped on the Medicare Tax. You brought it up as an example of a fair tax, and then when you were informed of what it was you changed your position. I respect that you are able question your own views but then you pivot into attacking the left to cover for your lack of knowledge--but that is pointless as I'm not a democrat.

"This is what you said. Then you said you were well aware of Obama's border spending:"
I'm not talking about in the past. I'm saying that at the same time Trump requested $5 billion on border security, the Democrats were spending even more money on things that had nothing to do with border security. I don't doubt that border security was a more high-priority issue for them in the past, but I wasn't talking about the past.

"You are changing your positions as we discuss, just like you flipped on the Medicare Tax. You brought it up as an example of a fair tax, and then when you were informed of what it was you changed your position."
That is also incorrect. The Medicare tax per se IS a fair tax, but I do not approve of people having to pay for it when they don't have it. You definitely aren't looking at the fine print.

"I respect that you are able question your own views but then you pivot into attacking the left to cover for your lack of knowledge--but that is pointless as I'm not a democrat."
I never meaningly implied that you were a Democrat, because it's never right to make assumptions about the person you are talking to. Whether or not you are a Democrat, the left has problems. This isn't an issue of "lack of knowledge."

Things we accomplished with Donald J. Trump (2016-Present)

      Better economy in general.

Helped release 19 people held captive. (3 of which weren't even American)

Promoted the first woman to director in the CIA. (Which is good for the democrats because of their bloodcurdling need for equality.)

Due to tightened security at the US-Mexico border we caught illegal aliens attempting to sneak $3.8 million (USD) worth of fentanyl into the country. (It was estimated the amount they carried was enough to kill 26 million people, which wouldn't happen, but you see how much that really is, and how dangerous this substance can be.)

Target the ruthless Salvadoran street gang MS-13.

Make politics more accessible to people who have rarely voted or cared about it, and widen the door of civic engagement.

Focus national attention on the opioid crisis, including a look at doctors who over-prescribe pain pills.

Move the U.S. Embassy in Israel to Jerusalem.

you would need people around every half mile to detect people crossing, and the border 1,954 miles long, so that's 1,954 * 2 = 3,908 workers. That would be a lot of money to pay all of them, and there would also be more people than that estimation.

There are actually far more than that. In 2010 our number of border patrol agents increased to 20,000. but yes, President Trump would certainly be willing to pay those agents, and even extend financial and logistical support to the Mexican agents protecting the border.

I'm not talking about the wall, I'm talking about border agents, American and Mexican alike, who will guard and currently guard the southern border. Trump is most certainly willing to extend, as I mentioned earlier, "financial and logistical aid" to ICE and other border patrol services.
I proved that the wall is NOT a dumbass idea, and if you don't believe me look at the previous points I made.
Trump is not a dumbass. Quite the contrary actually. He became president because people were tired of Obama's dumbass-ness and wanted a president who actually knows what he's doing, and right now they have that president.
"Low key if I jumped from his ego down to his IQ I would have been crushed into peices."
Looks like you'd be crushed into pieces by jumping across a sidewalk crack you delicate thing. It's a miracle your IQ didn't drop to 0 by typing that sentence.
