why did i even enter if i knew judging was gonna be this stupid

i oughta make a contest with fair judging and thorough rules

yeah, i loved that. sorry everyone, i loved every track, but i stuck to my rules: i'm not giving everyone coins for their entries; only the top 4 won. It's as unbiased as i decided was reasonable. I got three judges, we averaged our scores. I'm sorry if you are not happy, but that's the way the cookie crumbles...

 

I'm sorry that you feel that it was unfair. We had three judges, we averaged our scores. For instance, silent finger's favorite track was examples', but illicit and i liked lightningboit's more. we all scored quinnfederle pretty high, near second or so, so... ... it was fair, it's not all some stupid thing. And Start your own contest for all i care. This community needs fun contests to inspire people to make good tracks. But just know, making everyone happy is not possible. I can't give you all 12k, i don't have that much money. I understand what you feel, but other people put in lots of effort, too, and we judged some efforts higher than others. I hope you don't feel too much hate: it isn't doing anyone any good to be so negative.

your right but i put way more effort than scores above me tbh even if it wasnt the best detail i still say it was good and it was like 10 times longer than a lot of the entries

i understand that you feel disappointed, but the judges made our decisions, and we are proud of them. I certainty liked your track, i like all of yours, but effort and length does not necessarily equal winning. I hope you can understand that lots of people make tracks just for fun, without the added incentive of tons of money. Contests like this just offer more rewards for making good tracks., but i believe that the best reward is not likes, or subs, or even winning 12k. It's just creating something that you want to create, and creating something that you can enjoy. External reward is not everything. The best feelings i ever have are not when i get money, or get compliments, but when i feel proud of myself. Judging by your opinion of your track, you are proud of yourself. That's a good thing, and i hope you can feel proud without feeling spite.
