Update on my track:

I've had to scrap it a couple of times, but now I'm liking where it is going. I will, in fact, not finish it in 1 month. Maybe 3 months. This track is going to be big, not like 3000kb big, but just big in area. Super stoked for this track, I'll set it down now and then and do other things, but I will finish it. It won't be anything near Maple, but I'm hoping to improve a lot on this track.

I know I probably won't win from all those great detailers, but my detail has improved so much sense making this track. Can't wait to share once I finish. Currently 127k (characters of code), with 50% of the detail.

 

I have to agree with you there. I have a huge track and my detail has greatly improved, but I don't think I can finish it.

It's sad that people are giving up because a) they don't think they'll win or b) they don't think they'll finish. Peoples, if you give it your best effort than you can't truthfully fail. I've learned a lot about the detailing too, and most of us won't win but we can try to the best of our abilities. Sorry if I sound preachy

 

Thats my favorite part of my tracks, the first part i made you can tell the difference between it and the end im cleaning it up

 

You said you were releasing 11-15? U still on for that or earlier/later?
