although the Illuminati is a satanic cult, it does NOT worship satan. a satanic cult is simply a society/cult that is against religion (or god) therefore, the number 666 has nothing to do with the Illuminati. If it were 503, it would be a different matter, as it is an actual historic number to do with the Illuminati. 666 may represent satan, but it does not have anything to do with the Illuminati. Again, Satanism is a broad term referring to a group of social movements with diverse ideological and philosophical beliefs, not people that worship satan. Also if you read what I wrote: The Illuminati were against religion and had a very different ideological and philosophical belief than the religious people. while most believe that Satanists are devil worshipping people, historically they were educated men, like scientists, who believed that science was explained life, not religion, and so they stood against the church. Black magic and satan worshipping were lies spread by the church to make the Satanists look bad. People believed these lies and those against the church acted them ou wanting to emulate the Illuminati. That is how lies became truth, and satanism became paganism. the Illuminati did not actually believe in any rituals to do with pentagrams and stuff like that but were merely adversaries of the church, and so branded devil worshippers. Show me verified evidence that they merged with the Freemasons that doesn't come from a History channel show explaining potential "what-if" scenarios. The reason you gave for them being against religion is completely wrong, they weren't against it because they felt science explained life, they were against it because religious leaders were corrupt and abused their power and they wanted schools to be more secular in their teachings. Also, what? Paganism has been around much longer than any of this, so I don't know why you think it popped up this late in history. Paganism actually formed in the early 20th century, while the illuminati started in the 18th century. The illuminati originally started as the bavarian illuminati, The society's goals were to 'oppose superstition, obscurantism, and religious influence over public life and abuses of state power.' so basically to stop. basically, they were against the church having control over everyone's lives and about misinforming them about science ect. They wanted schools to teach something other than religion and wanted them to teach science. While the religious leaders might have been corrupt, that was not their reason to be against the church. They were tired of the control that it had over their lives, and it teaching wrong information. They believed that science created life and did not want schools teaching otherwise. They only actually became secretive and violent after the church branded three illuminatus with the cross and killed them. before that they were just a group of scientists who wanted their version of events to be heard. The Illuminati actually branched off of the freemasons but when bavarian royalty banned freemasonry and the illuminati some surviving illuminatus joined the freemasons who still exist today. (this is all in a book of mine which I confirmed with a few sources) Also, one last thing is that you seem very intent on branding the illuminati as evil devil worshippers. omg it's been a whole year since I started this track, what the hell got into me when I thought making a track this big was a good idea... Good news though, 2 routes are completely playable and loop back to the start with a third one being close to finised. Pretty much all the track I have is already detailed as well.
