Like, sub scamming / spam tracks solution?

Heyyo we never made a place to submit spam tracks for consideration but here's some scam tracks that're rising right now that I think should be looked into:

lol im only 11 but i know how annoying this is, yet there are 14 year olds like Noob_Rider_Not_Legend who dont even understand what they are doing and keep posting assh0le wheelies and that copy of guns track

People who make featured tracks should be rewarded. Like, if you make one track that got featured, you'll get a reward (coins, helmets, etc.). This can motivate players to make more good tracks, and there will be lesser spam tracks.

I know the requirements of featured tracks are low right now, but that should be able to motivate more players to put more effort into their tracks.

How about helmets only obtainable from getting a feature? pumpkin helmet anyone...

 

personally i think having your track featured on the site is rewarding enough, but i guess if they threw some coins in or whatever that could definitely make it more desireable. regardless though its not going to make new people make higher quality tracks, it'll at most only get people to make their tracks longer to qualify for a feature, and those who stand no chance wouldn't be affected at all and would still produce garbage.

If anything I think the hot and trending should be replaced with one user-picked category (similar to featured) but of a slightly lower standard, that way spam and scam tracks could become irrelevant because forum picked tracks would be put on spotlight rather than the garbage you see manipulating it's way to the top.

 

Maybe instead of based on all votes, just base it on O.A votes

 

how about we revoke everybody's oa and re dole them out, change the requirements for it, and make it so non oa people cant vote on tracks at all

Another way to stop spam tracks is to lower the limit of tracks of non-official authors to 100 or less, so players will have a lesser chance of spamming tracks.

There can also be a track uploading cooldown that lasts for one day when you upload a track, so players cannot simply spam a few tracks in a day. This cooldown can be either decreased or removed when the player recieves official author or a higher rank.

 

that would be a good idea, and adding to that i think they should make it so much less people have oa and up the coin amount to publish a track back to 100coins instead of 25

 

its way too easy to get coins, tbh it should be at 500 to deter people from spamming regrettable tracks and to get them to play more tracks to earn said coins

The thing is there are so many noobs who fall for such a dumb trend. And then they suck up to idiots like Pro_Rider_Legend, begging him to keep creating tracks. His recent track , "How to get a hover board" had a comment saying:
"Bro, I liked and subbed, where is my hoverboard???"

 

The dumb thing here is that we aren't addressing it and its making the site less desirable for newcomers to want to play on. They're effectively killing the site by not addressing it, and it's a really dumb business move IMO. Only takes a few seconds to find and delete a spam track.

People are leaving and new people aren't going to fill in their spots if the site looks like garbage.
