have added a handful of additional accounts. the lack of action is frankly appalling at this point; one 2 minute look through campaigns can tell you just how bad the problem is right now. awful

Deleting ghosts is obviously a very time-consuming and a very little effective approach towards cheaters. Even if we could mass-delete a user's ghosts in one wipe it wouldn't get rid of cheating by tas, spacebar or other methods. The solution I have presented to char regarding cheating is replacing the fastest-ghosts list with an author-controlled featured ghosts list on each track. This way each author can choose for themselves what ghosts should be displayed.

The obvious difference is that it is totally voluntary. It is also obvious by this thread that it matters to you which ghosts are displayed with your track. It is not however, in my, char or kano's interest to spend a tremendous amount of time on such a thing as deleting ghosts

Of course not, I wouldn’t expect anybody to waste their time deleting each hacked ghost, except maybe on the campaign tracks. I strongly believe a better solution would be for a ghost-legitimacy checker that runs each ghost before it registers as completed. This idea has been brought up before many times, and I expect it was promptly ignored each time. As far as Kano is concerned... well I believe they aren’t concerned, because if they were this problem would have been solved long ago.
