To become official author, you have to spend time on tracks. The detail should be neat, not scribbled. You can have a track that's super detailed, but if it's only one tree or something, that counts for not much. If you show up with multiple hard work nice looking tracks, the admins will notice you and give you official author. I got official author on my track account (kadinl14-Tracks) by doing that. (I don't use that account anymore btw.) Anyway, just keep working harder on tracks. Use references, but don't copy them too much. Vary your tracks from others, I've had people make tracks exactly like mine before, don't be like them. You'll be official author before you know it.
