Awards Ghosting Awards/Community Polls

STATEMENT:

Hey, guys. What's up? It's been ages, it has been some hectic few months for me, but I'm slowly trying to get back to been more active on here again. We were working on a few things regarding being up to date with things and some minor updates as well, but for now what I can say is that we have made a decision regarding the missing ghosting awards. The last one we did was for January 2025, so here was what we decided on doing:

February 2025 - We have had that pretty much lined up for a few months now, we just hadn't agreed on the ghost of the month and then we kind of got inactive and didn't post. But we already had it kinda done before this period of inactivity, so we'll have a full top 3 Ghosters of the Month and a Ghost of the Month to announce. It's been to long for a poll, so we won't have public votes for this.

As for the months between March and July, we discussed about this in the Ghost Mods convo and based on the reports of players that were active during this time, the analysis of ghosts from this time period and some other information that we got, here's what we decided to do:

March 2025 - We got enough information to do a full top 3 Ghosters of the Month and to pick a Ghost of the Month. It's been too long for a poll, so we won't have public votes for this.

April 2025 - We didn't feel like we had enough to get a full top 3 Ghosters of the Month, but we did pick a single Ghoster of the Month and Ghost of the Month. It's been too long for a poll, so we won't have public votes for this.

May 2025 - Same as April.

June 2025 - Same as April and May.

July 2025 - For this period, we already had more active players and more infomation to take into consideration, so we'll have a full top 3 Ghosters of The Month and a Ghost of the Month. We'll also have a poll up for the Ghoster Of The Month by Public Votes, and it'll be up until we can post the Ghosting Awards for August.

Also, another important thing to mention is that as some you guy might know by now, we're having some major issues regarding editing long messages on forums. We attempted a few things but weren't able to revert the situation and it seems like it's some sort of serious problem indeed. There been discussions about it being the max amount of links in the messages, but as Calculus brilliantly pointed out in the Discord server, it seems to be about a size constraint regarding any content on forum posts. We had this issue with links, images and too many characters as well.

With that issue in mind, since I'm not being able to save any posts with too much content (with for me is like 1/3 of my posts, lol) I thought about a work around solution and came up with the embed Google Docs idea, that you guys can see in the second post. This isn't the best idea ever, but it's better than nothing. You guys can check it here or here.

As of right now I'll be locking this thread and posting the Ghosting Awards from February to July, updating the stats file as I'm posting them.

 

FEBRUARY 2025 - Ghosting Awards Results

GHOSTERS OF THE MONTH

1 - NotVeryGood - Since it's be a while, I won't take that long with the posts, but major congrats to the great NotVeryGood. He's continuously sharpening his community classic results of his project "NotVeryGood's "Community Classic Domination: A Project", getting many dope ghosts and showing an enourmous consistency, grinding thousands of tracks in this past for over a year now. In February he got like 60 first places and showed that his form is still great, so we thought that he deserved this win. This is only NotVeryGood's 2nd time as the Ghoster Of The Month, 1st this year. This is his 5th time among the top 3 ghosters of the month in the ghosting awards, which makes him surpass Chaos-Fallen in this category and join the likes of Xverse, Unghosted and RedOrBlue. Congrats, man. Very deserved.

2 - TPlacella - In 2nd place we have TPlacella. February seems to be his lucky month, since he got his first time among the top 3 ghosters of the month in February 2024 and now he gets his second top 3 ghoster of the award participation in February 2025. 3rd in February 2024, 2nd in February 2025, I don't think you guys are ready for February 2026 TPlacella, haha. But in all seriousness he did well in the month, showing at least 4 good ghosts and some decent consistency. Congrats! As mentioned, this is the 2nd time TPlacella finishes among the top 3 ghosters of the month, first time this year (and also first time as 2nd place). Keep it up, man.

3 - Cerasium - You thought we would finish a top 3 ghosters of the month award without the Record-Breaking Beast from Minnesota? Think again. Yeah, not his best month, but he still hit a couple of good ghosts in a month without that much activity, so we agreed that he did do enough to deserve the third place here. This is Cerasium's
32nd top 3 ghosters of the month participation, which is something that speaks for itself. The guy is crazy. With this win, Cerasium surpasses Xenom for the most Top 3 Ghosters Of The Month participations in a row, reaching incredible 12 participations in a row, A FULL YEAR!!!! Cerasium has reached the top 3 without misses since March 2024 and goes even further into FRHD Hall of Legends!

Last Ghoster Of The Month Poll Comments:

For January 2024 we actually ended up getting several votes, since we didn't really came up with a different poll for months, so we got some really cool results in the end. We received 24 votes total, which is the second biggest amount we have ever received for the Ghosting Awards polls, just besides the Ghoster of The Month for January 2022, that got incredible 30 votes. In the end of this poll Cerasium managed to come on top once again, receiving 14 votes (around 58,3% of the votes), that actually sets another record for Cerasium. For that infamous January 2022 poll, we got Symantec getting the all-time record for votes in a Ghoster Of The Month by public votes win with 18 votes, but since that award as revoked since he was caught cheating, we consider that the biggest amount of votes that count for a Ghoster Of The Month by Public Votes win someone has ever gotten as the 13 votes that Anonyymi got in the April 2022 poll, so in that sense, Cerasium actually gets this record.

Cerasium got this win beating @NotVeryGood, that got 8 votes (around 33,3% of the votes) and @Stevie.T, that got 2 votes (around 8,3% of the votes).

This win expands Cerasium all-time record of now 20 wins in this category. This is also the 6th Ghoster Of The Month win by Public Votes in a row for Cerasium, which expands another record for him. This also makes Cerasium the first player to have a Ghoster of the Month win by Public votes in 5 different years (2021, 2022, 2023, 2024 & 2025). Crazy stuff, man. Keep it up!

GHOST OF THE MONTH:

With nearly 2 minutes, the ghost showed us enough consistency to reach the top spot and grant NotVeryGood his FIRST Ghost of The Month award. Nicely done.

Since he also won the Ghoster Of The Month award, NotVeryGood reaches his 1st Double Win ever. Insane work, congrats!

MARCH 2025 - Ghosting Awards Results

GHOSTERS OF THE MONTH

1 - Uniior - First place for March 2025 goes to the great Uniior. A remarkable player, with great history in the ghosting awards, having awards from 2022, 2023, 2024 and now 2025, Uniior has been one of the best for quite some time now. After being the first one to get a featured ghost in a couple of months, adding to some nice activity and some other cool ghosts, we thought Uniior deserved to get the win this time. Over the course of the past few years, Uniior has finished among the top 3 ghosters of the month 8 other times previously, with this being his 9th top 3 ghosters of the month appearance. With this win, he surpasses Egway and Cerulean and becomes the solo 4th place all-time regaring most top 3 ghoster of the month participations. However, this is only his 2nd win in this category, with the first one being in November 2024. First ghosting award for him this year, things are heating up! Keep it up!

2 - NotVeryGood - Continuing his never-ending grind, NotVeryGood managed to get nearly 200 good classic track ghosts, going even further in his journey. In March he got over 180 first places and showed that he's keeping up the steam, getting a very deserving 2nd place here. This is NotVeryGood's 6th time among the top 3 ghosters of the month in the ghosting awards, which makes him surpass Xverse, Unghosted and RedOrBlue, getting tied with the greats Sidewalk and Anonyymi for 7th place all-time in this category. Congrats, man. Very deserved.

3 - TPlacella - For the 2nd time in a row, we have TPlacella in the top 3. Once again he was able to show at least 4 good ghosts, showing some decent consistency, which earned him a place in the top 3. Well done, man! We didn't have to wait until February 2026 to see him again, haha. This is the 3rd time TPlacella finishes among the top 3 ghosters of the month, second time this year, which was done in consecutive months. Keep it up, man.

APRIL 2025 - Ghosting Awards Results

GHOSTER OF THE MONTH

1 - NotVeryGood - Yeah, it does feel weird not making a top 3 for this month, but after talking to some players, discussing with the team and gathering information regarding the ghosting activity for this month, it does seem like it was a rather dead month for ghosting, to be honest. However, we did find enough activity from NotVeryGood to make us decide to at least name a winner for April. The man continued his journey and got over 120 first places in that month, with some of them being solid, so we thought it was worth not missing this month and awarding NotVeryGood as the winner. This is NotVeryGood's 7th time among the top 3 ghosters of the month in the ghosting awards, which makes him surpass Sidewalk and Anonyymi and get the solo 7th place all-time in this category. This is his 3rd time as the Ghoster of The Month, 2nd time this year. Congrats, man. Well-done!

MAY 2025 - Ghosting Awards Results

GHOSTER OF THE MONTH

1 - NotVeryGood - Just like the previous month, May 2025 didn't seem to show much activity, so we also decided to just decide on the winner here. Once again, after 65 more 1st places, we decided to crown NotVeryGood the winner here once again. Solid job, man. It's really impressive the amount of work you are putting into this. This is NotVeryGood's 8th time among the top 3 ghosters of the month in the ghosting awards, which makes him tie with Egway and Cerulean for 5th all-time in this category. This is his 4th time as the Ghoster of The Month, 3rd time this year, 2nd in a row. Nicely done, man. Keep it up!

JUNE 2025 - Ghosting Awards Results

GHOSTER OF THE MONTH

1 - NotVeryGood - Once again, like the previous 2 months, June 2025 didn't seem to show much activity, so we also decided to just decide on the winner here. We did find a bit more from this month regarding different players, but nothing worth a top 3 placement in our opinion. Especially analyzing after so much time, with some ghosts being beaten and stuff like that. Yeah, it's true that for this month not even NotVeryGood had much to show, having around 20 good ghosts, with a few being beaten. However it was still more than the others we checked and we didn't really want to leave a month with no winners, so we thought that he did enough to deserve the win. Nice job, man. This is NotVeryGood's 9th time among the top 3 ghosters of the month in the ghosting awards, which makes him surpass Egway and Cerulean and get tied with Uniior for 4th all-time in this category. Great stuff, man. This is also NotVeryGood's 5th time as the Ghoster of The Month, 4th time this year and 3rd in a row. He also reaches a remarkable 7th top 3 ghosters of the month participation in a row. With this 5th win, he reaches the 3rd place all-time for the most wins in the Ghoster Of The Month award category, tying with the legend RadiumRC, just getting behind Xenom and Cerasium. WOW! We are definitely living in NotVeryGood's era. Wow!

We thought it was a ghost decent enough to give him his fourth Ghost of the Month award and Double Win. Big congrats, man! This Ghost of The Month is actually NotVeryGood's 3rd in a row, which ties the all-time record held by Cerulean and Xenom, the only ones to get 3 Ghost Of The Month wins in a row before. INCREDIBLE! Since he also got the Ghoster of The Month award, this is actually NotVeryGood's 3rd Double Win in a row, something that was only reached by Xenom in 2 different instances over the years. Another legendary record for NotVeryGood. CONGRATS!

JULY 2025 - Ghosting Awards Results

GHOSTERS OF THE MONTH

1 - Cerasium - So it's time for us to become up to date with the Ghosting Awards. Finally! And nothing more appropriate for a comeback than a win from the usual suspect, the legend Cerasium! We finally had a really decent month in ghosting and it was fitting for a competitive month that the most competitive FRHD ghoster to ever live came out on top. After another great month from NotVeryGood and decent months from TPlacella and mR..A, it took 2 solid featured ghosts + some additional cool ghosts to get Cerasium the win this time, ending NotVeryGood's streak. This is Cerasium's 20TH WIN in this category! WOW! Insane job from the young legend. This is Cerasium's 2nd win this year and also his 33rd top 3 ghosters of the month participation, 3rd one this year, after losing that year-long streak at the beginning of the year. Keep it up, man!

2 - mR..A - It was a really close call for us but at the end of the day, we went with the veteran, the OG forum admin, forum mod, ghost mod, VIP, Ghosting Legend, you name it. The Absolute FRHD player showed us once again what riding freely in this game really is. Besides doing some decent ghosts in some tracks in July, showing up in the leaderboards, the main reason he got this 2nd place was due to his indistinguishable trickghosting skills, a true master at work. The GOAT of trickghosting himself painted in black, gray and white another fabulous ghost in the appropriate named track Renaissance III, made by the legend himself, being as multitalented as he is. He got an incredible long superb trickghost showcasing the usual, skill, style and consistency that made mR..A well-known in this scenario. Impressive work! With this 2nd place, mR..A reaches only his second top 3 ghosters of the month participation, after getting that 3rd place back in June 2024. Although he didn't managed to break the habit and although while this legend was at its peak we didn't really have the ghosting awards, it's cool to see him still managing to fight back whenever he feels like dropping some all-time bangers for us. Cheers, man. Keep it going!

3 - NotVeryGood - Yeah, he didn't get the win, but for the 8th time in a row and for the 7th time this year, we got NotVeryGood once again among the top 3 ghosters of the month. Yeah, maybe he didn't really have any real standouts from this month, but getting over 50 first places is no joke, so great work, man. This is NotVeryGood's 10th all-time top 3 Ghoster Of The Month finish, which makes him surpass Uniior and tie in the all-time list with the great RadiumRC for the 3rd player with the most participations in this category, becoming only the 4th player to reach 10 top 3 ghosters of the month participations, after Cerasium, RadiumRC and Xenom. Really impressive work from NotVeryGood, that has been dominating the ghosting awards this year, not missing a single top 3 so far.

GHOST OF THE MONTH:

https://www.freeriderhd.com/t/1002822-renaissance-iii/r/mr..a - It was a really tough battle, mainly between Cerasium's ghost in Acerbate and mR..A's ghost in Renaissance III, although Cerasium's ghost in gentle escalation was also considered. In the end, although we really like the Acerbate ghost, it's a type of ghost that we see quite often at this level. I feel like the Renaissance III ghost is some sort of art form that was kinda lost in the game lately and when you see it being that well-executed, it's tough to ignore. mR..A came with a more original approach, so I think it's fair to give him the edge here. Not sure on how this is possible, but somehow this seems to be mR..A's FIRST Ghost Of The Month win, so another debutant in this category this year. Well-deserved, man! One up for trickghosting! Keep it going, man.
