Oh, I see now. That would be an interesting leaderboard. Not sure how standard that sort of thing is in other speed run pages, but I would like to see it.
for non spacebar igt, it doesn't technically need a video, but should require one to prove it's non sb
yeah i think there should be more than just campaigns, like, individual levels, maybe really big maps, or medium sized maps that are fairly hard, or just really hard maps that people could want proof of you beating, like unforgivable, or the unforgiving series
Honestly I feel like it's pretty easy to look at input data to make sure there isn't anything too crazy going on (like insanely fast inputs for long stretches or duplicated inputs) and then request a video if something looks too good to be true. edit: just realized how dumb this sounds. Once you ghost a track without a video, how are you going to provide a video upon request later? XD Yeah a video should 100% be required to prove nsb
Hey all : ) I've been busy w/ work and uni but havent forgot about the sr.com page at all! I am currently looking for the help of the community. Moderators I am currently looking for a team of 6 or so mods, to upkeep the page and verify ghosts. Currently there is myself and cutty, and I am in the process of adding RubeGoldberger and RadiumRC, so at this stage Im looking for 2 (maybe more?) mods so that the page doesnt stagnate. What we need: > for you to be able to login at least weekly > active in the ghosting community and understand things like the signs of a cheated ghost etc > friendly > around the age of 16 as per srcom rules (im not going to be too strict w/ this, but maturity is required) Please drop any suggestions for mod below (including yourself), or message me on discord/here Categories/Rules/etc: Suggestions for categories/individual tracks/rule sets ETC would be much appreciated, as we want to make the srcom page reflect the wants of the community! Some have already been commented which is great, any other suggestions hit myself/cutty/radium/rube up ~~ I'm rather sick so can't think of much else for the time being, if there's anything I've missed I'll bump the thread again. Once we nail down some readily agreed upon categories and mods, we'll start more actively promoting the page here and start transitioning/encouraging the submission of the best ghosts and times to the page, for all on srcom to see! cheers~~
Individual track runs do not have no-spacebar leaderboards, but the whole campaign levels do have separate leaderboards for spacebar and no-spacebar. There are actually more spacebar leaderboards because of this.
not actually sure why there would be spacebar leaderboards for individual levels on campaigns we have an in game leaderboard for that maybe would have been better to say that speedrunnign frhd in this sense is easier for non spacebar, because of the way that top level play is done also easier to view these non sb runs, and way better to watch as well
