Alright, I'm doing it. Starting tonight, I'm getting in shape. I'm not fat on any sense of the word - I'm almost underweight, in fact - but my body is so out of it it's ridiculous. It's not gonna be easy, and I'll probably hate it at first, but I know getting in shape will benefit me in so many ways. No more sleeping in until 12 because my body is too tired to get out of bed. No more wishing I was active. Hell, it'll probably be a good confidence boost and help me feel better about myself in general, as well as help how people perceive me. It'll even help me enjoy one of the things I love most - skiing and nature in general.

 

In my experience, everyone who thinks they will hate it at first, including myself, falls in love with lifting and exercise almost immediately. The only days you'll be hating pretty soon are the ones you DON'T make it to the gym.

Well, it wasn't easy, but today I took a walk/run/bike ride through town and into the open space for 16 miles. My goal is to make this a daily thing - maybe not for two hours like I did today, but an hour or so of running, biking or weightlifting. As painful as it was, I feel the best I've felt in a while right now. Also, the view was pretty nice...



Next week we'll be going up to the Sierras and I'm going to try to hike the 11500' peak off of Sonora Pass.

 

^thats awesome man! Good for you! Hiking is awesome, there's tons of trails in my area so I like to try to go on a hike fairly regularly, no 11000ft peaks where I live though
It's so satisfying seeing a great view or finding cool spots in the woods.

You should look into riding bmx because it's a great way to exercise and have tons of fun, not only staying in shape but constantly feeling the satisfaction of learning new tricks

Last night I started trying to get a shiny Latias in Pokemon Omega Ruby. In about an hour and a half, I have already soft reset the game over 100 times. . .

 

Can you catch shiny latias in OR, without cheat codes?

 

I thought you said "shiny latinas", and I got very confused

 

Yes. The only shiny locked Pokemon in ORAS are Groudon, Kyogre, Rayquaza, and Deoxys. I could get a bunch of shiny legendary Pokemon if I really wanted to spend a very long time. I'm just going for ones I want though.
