Most artists exude confidence without coming off as a d*ck. They don't interrupt other people's winning of awards to say that someone else is more deserving. But I mean.. This link speaks for itself. Confidence =/= douchebaggery.

People like to criticize Kanye for standing up for what he believes in. They don't realize that he hasn't murdered anyone, but he gets more slander than OJ. He doesn't egg people's houses or race his Lambo in the street, but he gets more hate than Justin Bieber. Kanye is the real victim and people think he's the douchebag. Not to mention he makes the best music of any artist today... no wonder he acts out in such ways. The world doesn't deserve Kanye West

Kanye is unique. He does what he wants and lives like that. He lives on top of the world and people love how cocky he is, like Steph Curry. I think he's alright. He's a free spirit set away from everyone else and other people hate him for being so different.

 

I cant wait until he runs in 2020, it will be great seeing if he even gets off the ground........course, he could surprise everyone and just take off and beat everyone easily, that would be interesting....esp kim as FLOTUS

It depends how far right his ideas were........i also quite frankly see how electable he would be and usually think a person with a bit of government experience is a good thing.

It's an entirely different scenario when you hold no shame for your douchebaggery. When you care so little of your actions and their detriment on others that you're literally convinced that there is a justified reason to stand up and ruin one of the best moments of another artist's life by belittling their work and saying that another nominee is more deserving. And it's not even that he isn't entitled to that opinion, it's really just...shut the f*ck up. Wait until you have a proper platform to put forth that opinion and use it then.

Boy howdy, you make him sound like a full-fledged social justice warrior. With all the bells and whistles. He doesn't really get that much "slander" (I don't think that word means what you think it means), rather he faces rigorous scrutiny for the things he objectively says and does. He's no victim, the hate people give him is perfectly justified. When the president of the United States calls you a jackass not *once* but *twice*, you're probably doing something wrong.
