    Quick Update:

Unfortunately, it seems that Eryp and Max007x won't be able to finish their track in the near future. I hope that they finish their track eventually and publish it, since it's a good one, but we can't use it for this contest. Eryp also sent me another great track that is pretty much ready to go, but Cerasium tested it recently, so it wouldn't be fair to use it. I talked to SketchyLemon and even though his track is a bit hard, I think RadiumRC and Cerasium can deal with it without many problems. So he'll be publishing it at the usual time, in 4 hours and 10 minutes.

TODAY IS THE DAY! The time has come. Is it because Brazil got a win the World Cup today? Yes. But actually no. This is the day where two of the FRHD deities will start their 3-day epic battle for the Absolute Crown. They will fight for the Golden Trophy, The Highest Title. It's time to discover who will be the Free Rider World Cup Champion in the 6th edition. And I have to say, this is looking to be the strongest final ever.

In the first edition back in 2015, we had Noob vs WrzodX and it was a great battle. WrzodX was a legend and put up a fight during a time where the non-spacebarrers were starting to lose their protagonism, but Noob was the clear favorite despite the fact that he had just came from BHR. He was showing a whole new level of ghosting to the community. I think he was still F1N by then. It was the beginning of the Finnish Dynasty. That final meant so much because it showed a change. The biggest ghosting contests before, that were the first two speedy_XD hosted, had WrzodX winning both of them. The non-spacebarrers were still on top. The level of the final was good, but things evolved a lot in 7 years. Looking to the overall FRHD All-Time Top 100 Ghosters list, Noob was in 13th place in the last one and WrzodX was in 65th place, although at that time they were both definitely top 5 ghosters for sure.

In the second editon in 2016 we had a league system, so we didn't have a "Championship Finals track", but the top 2 players in that contest were Backtwice and Noob. They were the best 2 players at that time, so that was an epic contest. However, Backtwice had already won before the last round (or almost), so the last round didn't feel like a final. In the Top 100 list, Backtwice was the 11th in the last one and Noob, as we said, was the 13th.

After 3 years, in the third edition back in 2019, when I started to host it, we also had a league system, so no Championship Finals as well. However, the 1st and 2nd place in that contest were no others than finnish legend Anonyymi and og legend from kid to teenager RedOrBlue. WOW! Probably the best players at that time alongside tetrationiscool (that was also in the contest, but finished in 6th because he didn't complete some tracks). Anonyymi and RedOrBlue got 3rd and 2nd place in the last Top 100 list, although Anonyymi was the leader in the first 3 lists. This was a great contest as well, but it didn't have a Championship Finals track. During the last track, Anonyymi (that continued the legacy of the Finnish Dynasty started by Noob and Backtwice) had already won and didn't even complete the track, lol. So we can't really say the final round was THAT great either
(despite the epic BrendanMagill win, though).

In the fourth edition in 2020, we started the format we are still using now, so we did have a Championship Finals round. And it was a cool one. We had Anonyymi vs Calculus in the final, and despite the efforts from the god ZPresley and also from Calculus, Anonyymi wasn't stopped and the Finnish Dynasty continued for another year. It was a cool final, but Anonyymi, best player at that time and 3rd place in the last Top 100 All-Time Ghosters List, was the clear favorite against Calculus, that is a great ghoster who finished in 35th place in the last top 100 list.

In the fifth edition last year, we had many upsets. RedOrBlue was the clear favorite to win the whole thing, with guys like Madara and Cerulean being strong contenders as well. Many other players were killing it, such as Chaos-Fallen, spruce, Stevie.T and Zycerak. We even had younger versions of RadiumRC, Cerasium and Symantec there, but none of those made it to the final, lol. It was actually mudkip vs Backtwice, that had a great comeback. Backtwice was the favorite but tried to ghost at the last minute a hard and long track and couldn't do it in time. We had mudkip being crowned the champion, which became a very interesting upset, haha. Of course that mudkip deserved it, but it was interesting how things played out. Cerasium did great but was eliminated in the Group Stage (he ended with the 3rd place medal, though), Stevie.T and Zycerak killed it in the Group Stage pushing Cerasium to the Losers Championship, but were surprised by DrChill and Giampitek. Spruce did great but lost to Chaos-Fallen. Chaos-Fallen did great but lost to mudkip. Cerulean was the bad boy at that time and was someone most players were rooting against, but he straight up sent Madara and RedOrBlue (in a crazy and iconic last minute upset) home, so people thought he would win. But Backtwice pulled off the same trick against him and got the win, so then everyone expected him to win the contest, but then he lost, haha. It was a very entertaining contest, though. As we mentioned, Backtwice was the 11th in the last top 100 list. As for mudkip, he was in the 18th place in the last top 100 list.

AND NOW... In 2022, we have an insane battle between RadiumRC and Cerasium. The 1st Place in the latest FRHD All-Time Top 100 Ghosters list against the 5th in the same list. The 1st Place in the Official Featured Ghosts leaderboard (currently with 87 features) against the 2nd Place in the Official Featured Ghosts leaderboard (currently with 80 features). In that same leaderboard, Cerasium is the 1st in the Fast Featured Ghosts category and RadiumRC is the 2nd. Radium is the 1st in the Auto Cuts category and Cerasium is the 3rd. As for the official all-time record of featured ghosts held at the same time? Cerasium has it. The record of most auto cuts held at the same time? RadiumRC has it. Most Fast Featured Ghosts at the same time? Cerasium has it. Fastest to reach the Recognized Ghoster and the Legendary Ghoster since the player first feature? RadiumRC. Most 1st Place wins in the Ghoster Of The Month award of the Ghosting Awards by the Team's picks? Both share the lead with 5 wins each. And by the public votes? Cerasium has it. Leader on that this year? RadiumRC. Last year? Cerasium. Most Top 3 Ghoster Of The Month award participations ever? Cerasium. Who is the 2nd with the most participations? RadiumRC. Cerasium lead this stat last year and RadiumRC is doing it this year. What about Ghost Of The Month awards? RadiumRC is the biggest winner on that. The Ghoster Of The Year of 2021 by the Ghosting Awards team? Cerasium. The Ghoster Of The Year of 2021 by the FRHD Awards? RadiumRC. In the last Ghosting Award we had, Cerasium was the Ghoster Of The Month and RadiumRC was the 2nd. I don't even need to say more than that, although I could.

THIS IS A LEGENDARY WAR! No Free Rider World Cup Championship Finals had 2 players in a better form at the same time as this year's edition has. Those 2 are the only 2 players that won the polls in EVERY SINGLE ROUND. They were the favorites, they confirmed their favoritism and now they need to battle. Last year, despite the 3rd Place in the FRWC5, the epic wins in the ORG and GBC3 (beating RedOrBlue twice), the 3rd place in the EOST and a ridiculous amount of features, ghosting awards and records, Cerasium still didn't win the Best Ghoster Of The Month award in the FRHD Awards. Also, RadiumRC eliminated him in the Semifinals of the End Of Season Tournament, so it's revenge time. Yeah, maybe RadiumRC will enter this as the favorite, but he'll need to confirm that.

Coming to this final, both players are undefeated. Let's take a look on how they did so far:

    RadiumRC FRWC6 history:

    Qualifiers: 23.10 - 2nd Place (that got him in Pot 1 - Group 5)
    Group Stage Match 1: 35.93 - 2nd Place (win against we_are_number_one)
    Group Stage Match 2: 23.73 - 1st Place (win against Coated_Badger)
Group Stage Match 3: 23.17 - 8th Place (win against Tubiek)
    Group Stage Combined Time/Points: 82.83 - 2nd Place/9 Points - 1st Place in Group 3
Round Of 16: 29.83 - 1st Place (win against Cerulean)
    Quarterfinals: 1:35.40 - 1st Place (win against Stevie.T)
Semifinals: 23.67 - 1st Place (win against Reborn)
Combined Time During The Whole Contest: 254.83 seconds (or 4:14.83)

    Cerasium FRWC6 history:

    Qualifiers: 23.90 - 3rd Place (that got him in Pot 1 - Group 4)
Group Stage Match 1: 34.73 - 1st Place (win against WrzodX)
Group Stage Match 2: 24.03 - 2nd Place (win against adversitas)
    Group Stage Match 3: 22.30 - 2nd Place (win against MatthewMatthew58)
    Group Stage Combined Time/Points: 81.06 - 1st Place/9 Points - 1st Place in Group 4
Round Of 16: 30.27 - 2nd Place (win against Sidewalk)
Quarterfinals: 1:36.77 - 2nd Place (win against Setsu)
Semifinals: 24.47 - 2nd Place (win against Xenom)
Combined Time During The Whole Contest: 256.47 seconds (or 4:16.47)

So you guys can see that there's a slight favoritism towards RadiumRC. The scary part for me is that RadiumRC didn't need to do much to get those results. In most cases he just got those ghosts in the first day and those stayed as some strong times for the whole round. That's crazy!

As I'm writing this post, there's 10 votes for RadiumRC in the poll and 5 for Cerasium. Can the young legend Cerasium actually pull off this? This time there's no Finnish Dynasty to break. We had mudkip taking care of this last year. No wonder why we didn't see a finnish player in the World Cup this year (as far as I know). Backtwice, Noob and Anonyymi are not in this contest, so we'll have a podium without a player from Finland for the first time ever in the history of the Free Rider World Cup.

But talking about history, Cerasium will already make some this year. Even if he doesn't beat the "favorite player" here, he will join a hall of players that got medals in more than one FRWC. Right now that hall of players only has the 3 Finnish Legends. Noob was 1st in the FRWC1 and 2nd in the FRWC2. Backtwice was 1st in the FRWC2 and 2nd in the FRWC5. Anonyymi was 1st in the FRWC3 and FRWC4. Some other medalists did great in other years, like me (that have a 3rd place in the FRWC1 and also have a 4th place in the FRWC2 and a 5th place in the FRWC3), but no other got 2 medals besides the 3 I mentioned. Other than me, we have WrzodX, darksmoke11, Stevie.T, Calculus, Madara, mudkip, Xenom and Cerasium with 1 medal each, so Cerasium can enter that group this year. Also, Cerasium will make even more history. He'll be the first player to ever reach 5 ghosting contest medals! That's crazy! Currently he's tied with Madara and RedOrBlue with 4, but this will end in 3 days.

However, if Cerasium wins, he'll achieve another unheard achievement. He'll be the first player to reach 3 first place medals in big ghosting contests. Currently, after winning the ORG and the GBC3 last year, he's tied with Anonyymi, that won the FRWC3 and the FRWC4. In the other side, after winning the EOST last year, RadiumRC could tie with Cerasium and Anonyymi and get his 2nd big ghosting contest win! Can he do it?

It's time for the young legend Cerasium to rise. He has faced many great enemies, but he's in front of the biggest one of them all! The Untouchable Man, that no one seem to be able to get near him whenever he's inspired. The Master of The Cuts, that got a cut in the Qualifiers, the Group Stage Match 2, the Round Of 16, the Quarterfinals and already in the Championship Finals. He also got some great unintentional timesaves in the Group Stage Match 1 and the Semifinals round. Only the 3rd group stage match track was safe. No wonder why he's the player with the record for the most auto cuts held at the same time and that he's the player with the most auto cuts held now. He's a master of doing the tracks in the way they are not supposed to work, lol. He's also the Early Round Killer, the guy that has an opposite tactic than what Backtwice and later Cerulean used to do. Instead of doing a "surprise ghost" in the last minutes, he sets the bar really high earlier, and if needed, he improves the ghost later. This tactic was interested, since it kind of scared some opponents right away in some rounds, where they didn't even ghost, lol. He's also the Silent Destroyer, the man that kills everyone and usually doesn't talk or brag much about it. He's the one and only RadiumRC. Your favorite chemical element that's a Real Champion on FRHD. The guy is Really Consistent and a Rare Competitor to find, an ever Rising Comet that is also a Ruthless Challenger.

Last year Cerasium was 3rd place in the FRWC and RadiumRC was the 11th. Oh, how things have changed. Now they are in the same league and the favoritism is probably in the other side. But as the OG FRWC players know, favoritism doesn't always mean victory. And it's not any battle, it's a battle of titans! A battle of FRHD gods! It's like Goku vs Vegeta, Iron Man vs Captain America, Batman (if he's well-prepared) vs Superman, Xbox vs PlayStation, Coca-Cola vs Pepsi, Brazil vs Argentina (in football/soccer), 2020/2021 Cerulean vs FRHD All-Time Top 100 Ghosters list, Totoca12 vs Short Posts and the list goes on. This is an iconic battle! If RadiumRC pull up on Zeus mode, Cerasium needs to bring the Kratos in him.
Gather your prayers, ask for guidance from the Finnish Trinity, the Almight ZPresley or whoever you want, I'm pretty sure that everything will be needed to defeat the goat RadiumRC. BRING IT ON GUYS!

Will Cerasium bring another trophy to the US or is it time for RadiumRC to put Australia definitely in the FRHD map? We'll need to wait and see.
