So here we go once again. WHAT A ROUND! Yeah, I know that we had some delays here and there and that the transition from match 2 and 3 from the group stage wasn't that smooth, but that doesn't take the fact that we had some epic matchups in the last round. So let's talk about them, while we also try to project this final Group Stage round. We had matches between players from pots 1 and 2, alongside some matches between players from pots 3 and 4, so we had some very interesting results. Let's see how things went.

    GROUP 1:

In the first group we had a heavily anticipated match in the group. In the first match we had the 1st place in the Qualifiers ShamatoZ against Legendary Ghoster Chaos-Fallen. The poll showed some favoritism towards ShamatoZ, that lead the poll by 12 votes against 8 for Chaos-Fallen. However, the experienced rider Chaos-Fallen secured a solid 26.67 time, that was the 10th place in the track, enough to beat ShamatoZ's 44.40 time, that didn't have a very inspired round. With this result, since the other match in the group ended up in a draw, Chaos-Fallen is one of the 2 players that are 100% secured in the Round Of 16. Congrats, man! He's leading the group with 6 points and can only be reached by ShamatoZ, that has 3 points. So since 2 players advance in each group to the Round of 16, he's already qualified for that. Chaos-Fallen ends the group stage facing AfterImage, and only needs a draw to secure 1st place in the group. ShamatoZ will face TypicalEshay/CHARREDLIZARD21, trying to secure a spot in the Round of 16 as well.

In the second match we had a historic match for this contest. I searched it up and this is actually the first ever draw in an 1v1 match in the history of this contest. We had 1v1 matches in the 1st, 4th, 5th and 6th editions, so that is saying A LOT! It was TypicalEshay/CHARREDLIZARD21 vs AfterImage. The poll was almost totally in favor of CHARRELIZARD21, 16 votes to 3. But the reality was different. AfterImage got a ghost first and was getting the win, but then after a day or so, CHARREDLIZARD got a decent 45.03 time and it was looking like it was going to be a certain win for him, since AfterImage's time was like over a minute. But close to the end of the round AfterImage focused on improving his ghost and with only ONE MINUTE REMAINING he came in clutch and manage to secure an historical and iconic draw, tying at the very end. Very impressive, the time was 23rd place in the round. Mad respect for the effort, that keeps the dream for a qualification to the Round of 16 alive, although it's still a tough task. Bravo! Both players are tied with 1 point in the group, but CHARREDLIZARD21 has the best combined time. As for CHARREDLIZARD21, he'll be facing ShamatoZ, in a very difficult task to try to advance to the Round of 16. A simple victory should do it, but there's not simple about beating ShamatoZ. As for AfterImage, he'll be facing Chaos-Fallen, that is already qualified to the Round of 16, in an attempt to try to do the same. For AfterImage, he'll have to win his match and root for either a draw in the other game, hoping to get a better combined time than ShamatoZ or he should win his match and hope that CHARREDLIZARD21 wins his match but doesn't get a better combined time than him. Tough task. Of course that if none of players in the other match complete the track, a simple victory would do it for AfterImage, but that seems unlikely. Good luck, guys!

    GROUP 2:

In the second group we had at least one very interesting match. In the first match we had an intense and anticipated match between the seeds from pot 1 and 2. It was Uniior vs Setsu. Uniior had a great year in the ghosting community so far, with some ghosting awards, reaching the Pro Ghoster medal, having a major improvement in the Top 100 list and coming strong in the beginning of the contest. In the other side, Setsu entered the top 100 list this year and was showing a great consistency in the first few rounds, so this was expected to be a nice battle. And it was. The poll was changing fast after Setsu started with a solid ghost and ended up being 11-8 in favor of Setsu. He didn't disappoint and beat the player from pot 1 in his group. Remarkable! What a performance from Setsu. Uniior finished with a time of 25.83, 8th in the round, while Setsu finished with a 25.03. 4th in the track. There was some debate because Setsu's ghost broke, but we had no reason to suspect of him and he had a working 25.60 ghost before, so there's no point on questioning his win. BIG WIN for sure. Setsu is lined up to qualify to the Round of 16, with great chance of doing it in 1st place, but it isn't 100% sure yet. Setsu has 6 points and will face pawflix in the last round seeking that 1st place in the group. A draw is enough for that. Uniior has 3 points and will aim to get his spot in the Round of 16 in the match against RandomTurtleBoi. A simple win should do it, if he remains with a better combined time than pawflix or if pawflix doesn't win against Setsu.

In the second match we had an easy match. RandomTurtleBoi vs pawflix. It was 11-8 in the poll favoring RandomTurtleBoi, but he didn't show up, so pawflix got the win with a 50.70 time (25th place in the track) and now has a great chance of finishing at least in 3rd place, which is cool, since he came from pot 4, as the last place in the Qualifiers among the top 32. If he beats Setsu, he'll have a chance of qualifying to the Round of 16, since he already has 3 points. RandomTurtleBoi has -1 point right now and will need to beat Uniior and that one of the players with 3 points doesn't ghost to have a chance of not finshing last in the group. Tough task! Good luck!

    GROUP 3:

The third group was interesting. The first match was one of the most anticipated ones from the Group Stage. We respected a cool battle between ghosting legends Reborn and Sidewalk and we got a WAR! The poll was 17-5 favoring the legend Sidewalk, even though he came from pot 2 and for the most part people got it right. Sidewalk had the lead for most of the round but in the last days Reborn was getting closer and closer until he was able to beat Sidewalk and cause a great upset in the last day. I think Sidewalk was a bit busy but Reborn showed the value of his username and got a last day recovery against a good ghost from Sidewalk. Congrats! Sidewalk got a great 25.73 ghost, that was 7th place in the round (the best time for someone that lost their match), but it wasn't enough to beat Reborn's 25.47 time, the 6th place in the round. Only 0.26 second made the difference here. Really crazy! With this result Reborn is almost secured in the Round of 16, with 6 points and will now face the good RubeGoldberger to try to secure his 1st place. Sidewalk has 3 points and will face Overthrown, looking to get a spot in the Round of 16 as well with a simple win.

The second match wasn't that eventful. It was RubeGoldberger vs Overthrown. Rube had the favoritism, with a 17-4 poll in his favor. Overthrown started winning, since it took a bit until Rube got a ghost in the track, but once he did, there was no competition. RubeGoldberger finished with a good 31.20 time, 16th place in the round, while Overthrown finished with a 1:55.20 time, the 28th place in the round. Rube has 3 points and will have a tough task against Reborn, but he still has chances to advance to the Round of 16 in case of a win. As for Overthrown that has -1 point, I feel like the Losers Championship will be the next for him in the Eliminatory Stage, but shoutout for the effort on making this ghost, though.

    GROUP 4

Things are about to get fun in Group 4. The first match was chill despite some anticipation. cesteiolomsater/Cerasium lead a brutal poll of 18-2 against experienced ghoster adversitas and he delivered. With the 2nd place in the round, a 24.03 time, Cerasium easily beat adversitas's ghost of 1:10.50, 27th place in the round. With 6 points and a great combined time in the Group Stage (1st place overall), it's safe to say that Cerasium will be playing in the Round of 16, but he still needs to face MatthewMatthew58 to fully secure the 1st place here. As for adversitas we are lined up for a very interesting match, since he'll face WrzodX, that right now has the same 3 points as him, but a better combined time, so a draw gives the spot in the Round of 16 to WrzodX. One of the most exciting matches of this last round for sure.

The second match was a very interesting one between OG WrzodX and newcomer MatthewMatthew58. The poll was 14-5 votes for WrzodX, but I was expecting a tough match. I have a giant respect for my fellow FR3 legend WrzodX but people had sleep on MatthewMatthew58 for 2 rounds straight and were about to do it again despite him performing great and even qualifying ahead of WrzodX so I gave my vote in the poll for him, but it wasn't his round, haha. WrzodX secured a great non-spacebarred 29.07 time after improving a couple of times, which is impressive, being the 14th best time in the round overall, enough to beat a pretty decent 32.10 time from MatthewMatthew58, 18th place in the round. The non-spacebarring legend, 2nd place in the FRWC1 in 2015 got the win here. This result actually puts WrzodX in a great position. He tied with adversitas with 3 points and has a better combined time, which means he's in 2nd place in the group now and will just need a draw to be in the Round of 16. Ok, it's not necessarily easy to get a draw with adversitas, but who else from POT 4 only needs a draw to qualify? That's right, no one! Good luck to you, man! As for MatthewMatthew58, he'll have a tough task of facing the one and only Cerasium in the last match for the Group Stage. Good luck! You'll need it.

    GROUP 5:

Let's now talk about Group 5. In the first match we had the man to be beaten this year, RadiumRC, against the trackmaker Coated_Badger. The poll was 15-4 for Radium and although Coated_Badger is showing that he's sharpening his skills lately (improvements in the last FRWC, the ORG and now this contest), it's still not enough yet to beat Radium that easily got a totally different route in the first day and his ghost stood on the top all the way through the round. RadiumRC got a 23.73 time, 1st place in the round, while Coated_Badger got a 28.30 time, 12th place in the round. It's clear that Radium isn't making that much effort yet. Let's see if that changes in the Round of 16, since he's totally going to be there with his 6 points and an awesome combined time. He'll face Tubiek to secure the 1st place in the group, while Coated_Badger will try to get the spot in the Round of 16 with a simple win against we_are_number_one. Good luck, guys!

In the second match we had an easy win for Tubiek against we_are_number_one. The poll was kinda close, being 12-9 votes in favor of Tubiek and he got the win with a cool 28.83 time, 13th place in the round. As for we_are_number_one, he didn't make a ghost, which makes things complicated for him right now. Tubiek has 3 points now, so we'll come to the match against RadiumRC with chances to advance to the Round of 16, although the task is hard to pull off. If he doesn't beat RadiumRC, he'll need to root for a we_are_number_one win and then try to advance through the combined times, but the odds are not that in favor of him right now. But who knows? Everything can happen here. Also, we_are_number_one has -1 point now, so it's nearly impossible to advance to the Round of 16, so the Losers Championship will be most likely the plausible outcome of this Group Stage for him. Let's see what happens.

    GROUP 6:

The sixth group was interesting. In the first match we had the most anticipated match in the group between Cerulean and Cork, but it was a weird one. Cerulean won the poll with 12 votes against 8 from Cork, but the results were the other way around. Although Cork's time was a great 26.57 time, 9th place in the round, Cerulean's 1:06.17 time (only 26th place out of 32) was clearly not on par with his skills. Not sure if it was a tactic, not enough time to ghost, a totally terrible day of ghosting or something else, but this will probably cost him the 1st place in the group, if not a placement in the Round of 16. Props to Cork, though. Cork has now 6 points, all lined up to qualify in 1st place for the Round of 16, but he needs to confirm that against lightninggod. As for Cerulean, he has 3 points and is now in 3rd place, since he's combined time is worse than R1ley070's. Cerulean needs the win against R1ley to qualify, since a draw works in favor or R1ley. Let's see if that will happen or not.

In the second match we had an interesting one between R1ley070 and lightninggod. R1ley070 has been doing good so far in the contest, being a surprise in the Qualifiers and almost securing a MAJOR upset against Cork in the first group stage match, so people were with him in the poll this time. He beat lightninggod by 11 votes to 6, and he managed to beat him in their match as well. During the round, lightninggod did set a ghost first so he was winning for a bit, having a time of 35 seconds flat in the end, 20th place in the round. However, R1ley070 eventually came in with a good 31.83 time, 17th place in the round, and that was enough to get the W. With this result, R1ley070 is in 2nd place with 3 points and will qualify with a "simple draw against Cerulean". But well, there's no simple draw against Cerulean, so let's see what happens. As for lightninggod, he only has a chance to qualify to the Round of 16 if he beats Cork and both players in the other match doesn't ghost. Tough. Good luck to everyone!

    GROUP 7:

Now it's time to cry. Let's talk about Group 7. In the first match we had the most anticipated match of the group I'm in. It was me against Stevie.T. 2 guys used to ghosting contests, with Stevie doing better than me in the most competitive ones lately. Nice matchup! The poll was the best possible: 10-10, haha. We were in a draw in the poll, so people were expecting a solid performance from both sides. And we did have that in the beginning. Before most players changed to RadiumRC's route, this matchup was great. I got a ghost first and improved it a few times, getting eventually a 27.60 time. I tried it a bit more and got a 27.20 time. After some attempts, Stevie.T got a good 27.17 and made me work a little bit. I finally got a better job using RadiumRC's route (I suck at BMX) and beat Stevie.T with a 27.03 time. Then he beat me using this route with something like 25.63. That was a time that I was still confident that I had a chance of getting, so I was going to try hard in the next day. However, he already had a 25.13 in the next day and then it became just too hard for me. I kept trying and missed MANY sub 26 ghosts. It would look better if I had a better ghost in the leaderboard at least, but in the end it didn't matter that much, since I wasn't being able to beat him. I missed a couple of 25.6-ish ghosts pushing really hard in the ghosts and missing the gravity at the very end, so that was kind of a bummer for sure. In the last day I got really busy since I had some guests in my house and had to handle countless different things in the contest and IRL, so I didn't get enough time to try to beat him again, but I honestly don't think I would have been able to do it, so props to Stevie for the good ghost. GG. Well-played! Stevie.T had a time in the end of 25.13, the 5th place in the round, while I got a 27.03, 11th place in the round. With this win Stevie has 6 points and unless he loses to Rippedmagnet, he has no chances of not advancing to the Round of 16. I have 3 points, tied with Rippedmagnet but ahead in the combined time, so I probably will just need a simple win against HoneyBadgers in order to advance.

In the second match, not much to say, honestly. People expected Rippedmagnet to win against HoneyBadgers, the poll was 16-5 in favor of Rippedmagnet. And Ripped managed to get the W. HoneyBadgers didn't make a ghost, so Rippedmagnet's 29.87 time, 15th place in the round, was more than enough for the win. Nicely done! Rippedmagnet has 3 points and pretty much needs to beat Stevie.T in order to fight for a spot in the Round of 16. As for HoneyBadgers he has -1 point and pretty much has no chances of not finishing last in the group. Let's finish strong, though.

    GROUP 8:

In the 8th and last groups, the matches were chill. In the first match we had Xenom vs braw. For his great year and legendary performance in the contest so far, Xenom was the clear favorite. He won the poll by 18-3 against braw. The win came easily, with AN INSANE 24.77 GHOST, 3rd best in the round. How far can he go in this contest, guys? I'll let you guys think about this. Braw kind of scared Xenom testing some stuff in the console and getting a great time by non-accepted alternative ways (haha), but he asked me to delete the ghost and he ghosted properly on his alt ohbrawther, finishing with a time of 37.70, 21st place in the round. Joining Chaos-Fallen, Xenom is the 2nd player that is 100% qualified for the Round of 16. That is because the ones that could reach him (braw and Cynosure) will face each other in the last group stage match, so there's no way both players could surpass him. Xenom has 6 points and will only secure the 1st place in his match against TPlacella. As for braw, he'll have a decisive match against Cynosure. Pretty much whoever wins will advance to the Round of 16, with a draw favoring braw. Good luck, guys!

In the second and last match of this group we had Cynosure vs TPlacella. TPlacella was the favorite, leading the poll by 14 votes to 5, but he didn't ghost, so Cynosure took the W, with a time of 32.27 seconds, 19th place in the round. Not bad. For the last match, TPlacella pretty much doesn't have any chances of making it to the Round of 16, so he'll just have a "friendly match" against Xenom, while Cynosure will need a win against braw to get in the Round of 16. Last round Cynosure finished with a better time than braw? Can he make this upset? Right now Cynosure has 2 points, while braw has 3, so a draw works in favor of braw. To close up the group, TPlacella stands in the bottom with -1 point, unfortunately.

Good luck, guys! I'm expecting some dope matches on this next round!

PS: I'll add 2 hours to the current round (Group Stage Match 3) to make a small compensation for the delay we had (it will also fit my schedule better).

PS2: Updated on the poll soon enough. Thank you guys for the patience. It has been an eventful weekend for me.

Hey, guys. What's up? First update on the times is here. Yeah, I know that the transition between the match 2 and 3 was weird but now everything is fine. So let's talk about what we have here. The track is pretty cool and it isn't too hard to complete so we are experiencing a very tough competition. For example, the time difference between the 1st place and the 15th place is 1.70 second, lol. A really tight fight. Once again Xenom is crushing it with the first place right now, Uniior is doing really well and RadiumRC and Cerasium are doing as good as it always is expected. Nice times by Cork, Coated_Badger, Setsu, braw and WrzodX (what a time for a non-spacebarrer) as well. Shoutouts of the moment go to the following matches: Setsu (23.57) vs (23.97) pawflix, Reborn (24.83) vs (25.97) RubeGoldberger, the heavily anticipated adversitas (25.40) vs (23.70) WrzodX and braw (23.67) vs (23.90) Cynosure. Keep it up, guys!

The following players have yet to complete the track:

    TypicalEshay/CHARREDLIZARD21
    RandomTurtleBoi
    we_are_number_one
Cerulean (this is ghosting the spot on the Round of 16 for now)
    lightninggod
    Stevie.T
    Rippedmagnet
    TPlacella

There's 25 hours and 17 minutes to ghost the track, since I'm adding 2 hours this time.
