(FINISHED) Community Collab 2021

oh yeah, because there are already 30+ people, and we have a week to do it. ok, well at least it's gonna be a big track!

 

so what's happening with this track? the pace seems to have slowed down, i've been doing uni stuff so i haven't been on free rider as much but it seems like this track hasn't evolved much over what must be a few weeks or even months (because i finished my part before my semester even started and now i am in week 8 (which is after a 2 week mid sem break)). idk over the years i have seen a lot of big collabs that go silent at the halfway mark (probably about 60% of the collabs i've been a part of) just stopping by to check whether that is happening to this one

 

I agree, this has happened with many bigger collabs I've joined over the years so I can see it happening...

yeah, holmrhy hasn't been on the forum in like 10 days apparently i say you can just add to the code that was posted on page 25. at least this might give the track some momentum again. also if he's available WheelieWaffle1 can do a part once your done idk, it isn't my track but i guess someone has to keep it rolling

 

lmao track is dead, the end is bad, everything after the first couple parts is no good

 

yeah but you could spruce things up a bit, i think like four other people have added on after me yet i have still contributed like 2/3rds of the tracks file size

 

nobody will really play past those parts and they have no decoration, If i could just delete the parts where no one tried, then maybe, but it would make everyone mad at me

 

yeah idk it is a very difficult position, i wouldn't be able to make that decision. maybe you could try "overhaul"that section meaning that you could make some smoother track and better detail that still is heavily inspired by what was there before idk

 

yeah I can do a bit of that, but i dont want to refurnish 2/3 of the level, I will try to make the part a bit smoother and more playable, but i cant and wont do the entire thing
