To be honest, if a track this time consuming to make looks as awesome as it does, a feature shouldn't even be a question. Add in the fact that this is, what we assume to be, a brand new author... if this ends up not getting featured, the bar SERIOUSLY has to go down. The featured track team seems to be looking for perfection from an online bicycle game. Guess what, you're not gonna find it. The mods picked you for some reason because you're "the best authors" that doesn't mean that everything you feature has to be equal or better than your own work. Char and Eric thought you guys would be good at admiring people's successes, no matter who made it. The list of tracks featured thus far seems to be a 10 to 1 ratio of either the team's tracks, or pre-frhd authors. I honestly don't understand what would be wrong with having the whole forum vote, but I understand that idea has been turned already. So, like I said above, pssst and goofyinc at least should be added to the team. Pssst is the only long time author I've seen accept aspiring authors, and goofyinc has phenomenal track building skills due to being an actual verified freerider. It boils down to; would you rather have arrogant experts judge your tracks, or honest users with real life "online bicycle" skills. But who the crap I am to judge, I'll shut up now, I just wanted to share what was on my mind.
I current verdict on this is 3 yeses, 1 no and 2 maybes. Waiting on the deciding factor between the maybes. There's been a lot of heated discussion over the last couple of stuff honestly and we have been talking about it so bare with us.
Congrats to both but I still think Steven's track shouldn't have been because look at the small detail there's not much but still I guess it's good but Max007x Eli's ?
now that it's featured, people are saying that the featured bar is too low. you can't really seem to get everyone to be happy, can you? :/
I would make a post agreeing with you and discuss the ineptitude of the Feature Moderator Team. But while I'm hosting the Remix Contest, I don't want to start that argument again.
