Then specify what your looking for Do you mean lightly detailed trees (Such as Max's, pinn's etc) or heavily detailed ones (Such as Cataclysm, Forlorn etc)
Then i'd say check out Pandora by Cataclysm, there's a few half finished tree's there and you should be able to see how he forms them. I remember him saying elsewhere in this thread that he uses the largest brush size to form his trees
I know it is a almost a direct copy but I do trees best while looking at picture of one. Or a silhouette I need help on getting the proper shape of a tree. Most of the styles are already taken that look good.
Use the style, dont use the tree. If you want to reference, use an image! Other than that it looks great, just try not to make the same track lol
So I can use the same style like leaves and branches but they can't be in the same spots as the original?
Pretty much. If you like it, use it! Don't directly copy the shape of an EXACT tree, use the style to make your own from scratch.
Take it from someone who copied almost everyone when he started...look at pictures of real trees. It's so much easier and has much better results than looking at someone else's work.
http://www.freeriderhd.com/t/186959-up-and-up What do you think of the detail in this track? I didn't spend a ton of time on it (a little over an hour. That's short for me) and I don't think it's half bad, but I want your opinions.
try connecting the lines a bit, but other than that the shaping of the rocks is fine from first glance. not bad
