See xwinx for grass and trees, he's the master of that sort of stuff For shading, see Max's track making thread, that covers shading and other stuff too (Go to the first page of this thread, it has the link)
lol im honored that you think that but i'm really not lol but EliteKitten if you would like advice pm me
Looking sick, thats gonna be one huge tree once ur done Nice work Jacob, the only way for u atm is up!
Haha. That's just how I learn. When I start something new, I have to base it off another thing. Then I branch off. It's like poetry. For example a diamonte poem. When you start you have to follow specific rules, but once you know the rules, you branch off. I'm just trying to learn edit: This does not mean that I am a kinesthetic or visual learner, I am an auditory learner, mostly. But I can learn with any one, but for drawing, I have to use my kinesthetic skills
I want to make it seem like the tree fell over. I just don't know how to draw the fallen tree. Any tips?
You're doing it just the way I'd do it. Take a look at a reference picture if you're not sure, but I think you got this one reference pic if needed: http://www.venturacountytreetrimmer...fd611938351PaloAlto_CATreeRemovalServices.jpg
ik its just a reference pic but you can't do that man, thats almost an exact copy. If you want it to be your own, change the branches and the bark detail.
I know I know. That's what I said before. I have to practically copy it and then branch off from there. It's not like I'm going to publish this track and say it's my own.
Thats not a bad start, but get rid of the leaves, it looks messy Take a look at Cataclysm, lolz666, Forlorn333 and xwinx for how the draw trees, leaves bark etc if u want it to be full on realistic. For trees in general, take a look at Max's trees, he does just the outline which looks really effective too
Then there is me, with my dodgy tree... E: How are people liking my post....I said it was a dodgy tree... lol Not finished yet though. Just wondering how I'm going to to the bushy part of the tree
The detail and design is good, but the leaves need to start up much much higher, and be more spread out.
