Collab I'm working on with Legendary_Rider - I like the island so far, but does the middle seem too plain? I'm really struggling to have the shape off the bottom flow upwards and connect in the middle area and I wasn't sure if it would just look fine as is.
if u completely run out of ideas, I feel that in the middle you could put a sig if u haven't already. Just to signify the collaborating I guess. something like Legendary_15, or Zeke_Rider, or something like that lol
Can someone give me tips on track and detail planning and layout stuff? I’ve just been drawing ground lines and then detailing with no plan whatsoever.
1. Literally draw a bigass oval thats the space u need to fill with stuff 2. Use curve tool to make a basic track 3. Use rocks, trees, grass, etc. to fill space or create obstacles 4. If there is a theme to the track, make sure to incorporate it throughout the track rather than in only one spot or Draw something really cool and make a ntbf track around it (like me) Hint: dont be like me
A big goal I usually have is to force the player to go through a section more than once, because it makes the track longer with less space you have to detail
What do you do about those places where you put a straight line, and it goes real thin? Is there a way to make it look thick again? Example:
Another two Questions:#1 Don't know if this counts as detailing but how do you make it smooth on top on a building as your going from the side to the top? #2: Is this how to properly detail windows?
What do y'all do for 3D drawings, I just use the grid as a reference point and then use the brush tool and erase my reference point. Is that how I should do it?
