Before I spend too much time doing this, what are your guys' thoughts on this. I can't tell if its too sloppy
tbh the mountains kinda looks bad, really looks like you decided to make a bunch of 2 sided triangles, then got sloopy
yes but if you do want that pointy mountain like thing they you can also try this when you round the tops it gives a more of a hill like feel (i personally like better) JRayge11 Sick as keep up the work
The lines on the side of the cliff should be defining a jut in the cliff, notice in my pic I only drew lines where there was a sharper angle, and at weaker angles I used grey lines. Also don't worry about making the outline really intricate with short lines if the detail is going to be light. Focus more on the shape.
I like the flying creature. As far as the ground detail goes, I wouldn't draw the first ramp as part of the ground, it's too smooth. Make it look natural or draw it as a ramp separate from the ground
^^^ exactly what i mean by using detail to strengthen shapes u already have, dont just throw it loosey goosey anywhere you want, be strategic
Max007x make a little thingymabob tutorial thingy on making creatures and stuff, i'd like to see the process on how you get to what you make (if you have one).
anyone have a way to do grass/island tops well? this is what I have so far and it looks really bad and it takes too long imo
i draw big and small rocks at some random places and i put some flowers and grass (your grass looks cool imo). put the rocks not too close of each others and put the grass at the base of the rocks and when there's a blank space. try to not "spam" the ground with things, it's not necessary and it looks more naturally when there is not too much elements. take example on Wave or zwinxz, they're really good in cliffs and things like that.
