by my estimate there's only around 160-170 more "trivial" top 10s before i'm left with all deleted, impossible, maxed tracks (+30 or so actual hard leaderboards I haven't gotten on yet). I think I might take a short break and plan out the last 10 uncompleted tracks I have. at this point they're all (but one) marathon tracks that I just have to sit down and grind out. I do intend to stream these somewhere, seeing as it is free rider history in a sense. now that the holidays are over I should have more time to do so. we'll see

 

due to a lack of time and motivation, i'm now choosing to just grind out the last few top 10's and finish up that part of the project before I grind out my last 10 uncompleted tracks. this is still more fun for me and so i'd rather do it first and then have a final missing top 10 count. stay tuned for the last two updates there soon

It's done! I will double check my list to make sure I haven't missed any tracks but other than that (plus of course the last 30 tracks that I will chip away at), I am done with this several year long project.
Where do I go from here? There are 4 avenues to increasing my number of times, as well as a further goal I am considering.
1. The natural next step is getting the last 30 top 10's I do not have. There are 10 uncompleted tracks in that mix, with the remaining 20 being mostly campaign tracks. I have not had too much trouble with the campaign tracks I've tried so far so we'll see how those go.
2. The next "easiest" step is proving some "impossible" tracks to be possible and completing them. I have already posted a thread on these tracks and some have already been proven possible since I posted it. I am certain that some more will be beaten in the future, meaning I will have to beat those at some point as well.
3. Beyond that, there are a handful of very short tracks that have maxed out, unimprovable leaderboards. Most of these tracks are under 2 seconds and not very hopeful. However, many of these tracks that I have encountered I actually have been able to squeeze out one more frame and get a first over a 9 way 2nd place tie. I will eventually post a thread of all these as well for the wider ghosting community to look at. (I'd like to make it known as well that on all these levels, I have tied the leaderboard/maxed time. The alterative here is that someone finds a way to insert your own tie onto the leaderboard somehow but I don't have much hope for that.)
4. The final route is the reinstatement of more deleted tracks. In talking with Totoca12, I think this seems unlikely but I could be surprised.

What about a further goal? Well, while most of my times are trending towards the top of the leaderboard, not all of them are. Perhaps I could go for all top 5's? or top 3's? or 1sts? I have no idea to what extent I'd go for something like this, if I even choose to do so. Something to think about.

I want to personally thank every single person that has ever replied, liked a post, or even read this thread. I'm glad I could make a permanent mark on FRHD history and cement my name over nearly 10000 of the most fundamental tracks in the game. Now go beat me

i'm trying to get top lbs on the campaigns and i'm already burning out after only 70 tracks,
and here you've done the same thing on 10000 tracks!
you are truly a frhd legend in my heart and i'm sure in the hearts of many others as well

 

gg on this incredible feat, this should be vip worthy material for it mustve taken an incredible amount of patience to pull this off expecting nothing in return

 

vip is only a title for trackmakers, ghosting legend is the same rank but for ghosters

 

With that philosophy we should give ShamatoZ VIP which makes no sense. Like Cerasium said, VIP is for trackmakers and ghosting legend for ghosters. What notverygood just did doesn’t earn him ghosting legend, it does not meet any of the requirements.

 

this is not vip worthy, nor ghosting legend worthy. if anything it's "guy with too much free time" worthy. it's a tedious feat more than a truly difficult one. I'd be really honored to receive any special role or title at all.

 

I went through all my missing IDs manually, 1 by 1, to double check that I hadn't accidentally skipped any easy tracks and I can confirm that other than the 30 that I already have listed, I do indeed have a top 10 time on every single possible track.
I also mapped out all of the "maxed" tracks so that I can post a thread at a later date for you guys to take a look through (and get some easy points at least). In this process I was able to actually get two more 1st places by saving a frame on some tracks:

after some hunting today I was able to knock off 5 more tracks from the hitlist, these being:
alien invasion 2 (4th place)
spelunking (6th place)
elements of style (5th place)
sunset dirt ride (6th place)
cops (3rd place)

this means I now only have 25 more possible tracks to get a top 10 on!

no new tracks done but you may notice the last of 10th place times. I decided I may as well try and future proof my project by beating as many of my 10th place times as I could be bothered to beat so that these leaderboard positions wouldn't be lost with a single new leaderboard time from someone else. there's a few I couldn't be bothered to beat but I still improved about 200 different times. gonna try and work on my 25 remaining tracks next I think

I have gotten 5 more top 10's/beaten 5 more community classic tracks! I went through and did 5 of my 10 uncompleted tracks, leaving me with 5 uncompleted tracks and 10 more where I don't have a top 10 time!!!

some more updated stats. some more formerly impossible tracks cleared (and 1 where I beat another 10 way tie) and I have also started grinding 9th place times for better positions as well. nothing too exciting but these numbers are still crazy
