Cleaned the thread, and kept some posts on request. and i have hopefully dealt with any remaining drama in pms. Its easy to get carried away when you have strong opinions about something, me included, and it might rapidly slide out of scale and topic sometimes. From now, replies on previous subjects will be removed. Lets continue discussing the track and effort put into it. Good or bad feedback, as long as its constructive
Stig As a suggestion, if people continue to argue against removing the space bar pause feature, then maybe there could be two leader boards for every track? One for ghosts with a significant use of the space bar, like 5 or more times as the space bar was mainly intended as a way of being able to pause the game if the need arises, like taking a break. And the other one for ghosts with minimal use of the space bar (less than five times) so there can still be competitiveness amongst the pros and newcomers.

Again, there is a difference between challenging and blatantly impossible. This and Rotate 3 are impossible on FRHD, whilst Hawnks' tracks, Movie Mania and Day at the Cottage have misplaced goals. And even if they were placed there on purpose, you can still enjoy the majority of the track. Is this the case with Rotate 3 and ebolaids? No. I can zoom out and appreciate the detail and the layout of the track but I cant actually explore any of it myself. This isnt me dissing either tracks, which are fantastic; this is me stating facts Edit; whether it is featured or not is down to the feat mods, but Im fairly certain that it wont be featured due partly to this Edit 2; Day at the Cottage doesnt even have a goal, thus why it is impossible lol
While the detail under a microscope looks amazing, a little zoomed out and it all turns into an ugly grey mush. That's just the problem with intricate detailing I guess. And in defense of spacebarring, FRHD moves much faster than CR or the forbidden site, it might be frame rate or whatever, but a ghost that takes 30 seconds here will usually take like 40 seconds, so many of us are used to slower rides. FRHD moves so fast sometimes its hard to react, whereas CR's version gives slightly more time. Not saying it's a noble ghosting method, just saying there may be other fixes.
^^ Thanks for the input on the detail man, and yeah i agree there could be better ways of riding if the options available for alternatives and framerate issues were changed.
